I will be very dissapointed if in the end he doesn’t rule and ends up living in the middle of nowhere with the FL. Cause they can go and do that now…if he leaves the palace all his enemies will be satisfied. For me it would he a dissapointment.

ye im on the same boat i am up to ep 4 and nothing is motivating me to continue watching…i am annoyed cause this was one of the dramas i was looking forward to. ill watch a few more episodes to see if it peaks my interest…but for now very dissapointed
FSG disregarded him as a threat... because he gave the impression of an adventurer and womanizer... who didn't show any political ambitions (clearly that was a facade to deceive FSG so he could misdirect his attention to other people and away from him)

what do you mean? it's prob the fact that they're independent and strong.. so u dont see the usual feminine weakness from the FL lead... which sometimes i do miss... i do want her to show her soft side more... but right now she needs to present strength for him as he's the one going through it

no father is gone kill their own son out of loyalty…they would kill them out of selfish greed and ambition. you clearly have not seen spoilers of upcoming episodes. not only does he not hurt his son… he attacks FSG with his son

i think your first theory is correct ….the other ones i dont think so. i think the father realizes theres no turning back for his son and prob feels guilt so helps him defeat FSG to comfort his son i guess. i dont know. but i am really dreading that damm scene
