These two are the most self-sacrificing characters I’ve seen in a while.

Duan Xu is literally sacrificing his own life force just to be remembered by Simu, not wanting to be a burden, he refuses to ask Simu for help even during a 3 day battle.🥺

Simu is truly a lonely soul, trying her best to convince herself that Duan Xu is just another human, one of many. She decides her brief happiness is not worth Duan Xu’s life in exchange and ends their union.😭

This drama is definitely living up to it’s title, Love Beyond The Grave!💔

I loved Chen Feiyu’s portrayal of a mature Duan Xu at the end of episode 34, with the five year time jump, he seamlessly adjusted his mannerisms to reflect a 24 year old man.👏

Cat’s out of the bag for Yan Ke, he killed Simu’s father and has somehow managed to keep it secret for 300+ years. This man is the epitome of evil!!👿

He’s been banished to the mortal realm, so it appears the chessboard has been moved. I can’t wait for tomorrow’s episode!
