One more thing to note is QT doesn't even dare to show her real emotions in front of Fugui at the start of Episode 30. People are what they are in front of their loved ones. I don't know if I should take this as a matured love and what else...

Their love is still ambiguous without her dead brother. He should stoked a fire in his heart, but never did. Fugui doesn't even acknowledge himself of being in love, even after Rumu and Yunfei saying that he is in love for the fact. She was in love with him at the start, but got diverted after hearing him say that she shouldn't be his shadow for a lifetime. He even told her that would make the same decisions without even her at the festival

The romance tag of the drama is for Rumu and Yunfei instead of Fugui 🤣 The slowburn was very slow, one sided at different points for different characters. At this I'm not even sure if Fugui and Qing Tong are in love at all

Didn't DQY become the chief at the end of Red moon pact. So, this is also after RMP it seems. Episode 30 says he became the chief of Yi Qi Alliance at the selection

Is this the same drama I started a while ago. It's like the story went from somewhere to nowhere and the ML is getting lesser and lesser screen time. Is he a cameo in the last 4 episodes or what ?

There are three stories under Fox Spirit Matchmaker. Love in Pavilion is the 1st story while Red Moon Pact and Sword and Beloved take around the same timeline. However all three stories are stand alone, knowing the previous helps you connect things without cues from the drama

Qing Tong has the black grief tree's seed inside her. The black fox is already looking for a opportunity to consume Fugui. So she doesn't want to put him in danger and comes back

As far as I remembered, no spirit + human coupled had one of them not killed in the name of sacrificing for love in FSMM. Correct me if I'm wrong
