On December 16, SBS stated, “The Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Fiery Priest 2’ will not air on December 21 and is now scheduled to conclude with its final episode on December 27.”
The upcoming cancellation on December 21 is due to the live airing of the 2024 SBS Drama Awards, which will be broadcast at 8:35 p.m. KST.
Episode 11 of “The Fiery Priest 2” will air on December 20 at 10 p.m. KST, with the finale set to air on December 27.
"The Fiery Priest 2" Cancels December 14 Broadcast Due To Scheduled National Assembly Vote.
According to a representative from the drama, the show will not air on December 14 due to the National Assembly’s scheduled vote on the second motion to impeach President Yoon Suk Yeol.
This decision follows similar cancellations by other programs ahead of the impeachment motion.
