This age bs was just unnecessary, but whatever. You can clearly see the age difference shows in their acting. Mac just doesn't give BaiLuoYin, not at all. His performance in ep 1 was weak, bland and lifeless. August as Ghu Hai is also hard to see, but his acting is decent.

That's a very typical mid Thai bl with weak acting. The actor of Hero is a little better, what a surprise being nearly 30. The whole vibe is just not it. But I've seen worse and maybe it will get a little better in further episodes. Sadly I doubt we will ever get a good version of both books. What a shame.

Yeah, it's nearly 10 minutes shorter than the uncut. I could watch the uncut on WeTV with VPN but without subtitles it doesn't make much sense.
