As Stellovet said, they could've all been killed if anyone knew she threatened a royal. She's blessed that Consort Miao was her mother's friend. That's why FYX was mad, she would break their promises (she had to act as a wife and protect his family), and get themselves killed. Disregarding everything.

I guess he died shortly after, cause happiness in this drama is usually short-lived. Poor Hanyan, lost everyone she loved. She had her mother for 3 months, and in those 3 months around 2/3 of it they weren't close. She almost lost her best friend's life (now they're just far). Now she's gonna lose her husband. At least he left ZhiZhi for her. And she, somehow, has ZRY and ZYS, though that's not the same as having her own family that really loves her. I feel so sorry for her🥺
16 eps in and still going But story wise it's kinda weak They focus too much on support characters. The plot is fullllll of loopholes and drama coincidences. Sometimes it seems like they changed the writer for some parts. Filmography os amazing and the acting is also very good. But the story is wasted, had great potential but very poor writing Since it's a slow burn with deep mistrust, this one should've been 36 or 40 eps. Some things are rushed, while others are taking too much space. But romance isn't "romancying" at all. The plot is like a roller-coaster, sometimes it goes up and than it goes all the way down.
I guess I need to close off my brain sometimes so I don't get bothered by nonsense
