I am absolutely devastated. this show, despite its angst and drama rooted in very human problems, was incredibly healing and comforting. I didn't expect the rug to be pulled from underneath us and hurt us like this. man this is why I usually stick to silly bl's these days, so I don't have to deal with this pain.
Genuinely a good episode and a start to the series the comedy was cringy but not in a annoying way but it actually…
i feel like with maxnat, based on what i've seen with their previous series, there's a small group of people who love to hate on them, or specifically nat, and always come to their comment sections to complain about them. it's pathetic and unnecessary.
This was genuinely such a good and fun first episode! MaxNat are wonderful and goofy together and i'm glad they finally have a series together again. I can't wait for the rest!
man that nc scene was... something. bas certainly tried his best, but it's difficult creating an enticing nc scene when your scene partner looks like he wants to be anywhere EXCEPT there. the pov's didn't really help either. it's a shame because they do have cute chemistry, but it didn't do anything for their more intimate scenes.
I've been thinking the same thing. Like there's two different relationship dynamics happening between Nakhun and…
a very excellent analysis, and i couldn't agree more! i'm really curious to see how they will further explore their relationship within this world they live in. we could already see some conflict there in the preview for the next episode, when phatsa asks nakhun what would happen if he were a beta instead of an omega. nakhun so easily told him they wouldn't be soulmates then, because i guess that makes sense within their world. phatsa, of course, will have a very human reaction to that.
a shame how some of y'all are so clearly here only for the NC's and can't appreciate the story being told. it has some gaps here and there, but overall i like what they're doing, especially regarding the omegaverse. i feared they would use it only to condone their many expected NC's, and instead, they're taking their time, and showing consent.
the pacing and storytelling is sometimes a little incoherent, but i love this series so much, and BoatOat are the perfect choice for this.
If the omegaverse is not your thing, that's fine. it's obviously a very niche genre. but leave us be then, and don't complain about literally everything omegaverse-related. it's okay to admit this show is not for you.
the subtitles are an absolute mess, but the first episode wasn't! my god we're going on a journey and i am here for it. boatoat's chemistry is insane as always, and i love how phatsa doesn't appear to be the usual "weak" omega. we're definitely off to a good start and i can't wait for the next episode.
the order of the episodes, or the order of each series?
Fourever You pt 1 comes first, that's the story of hillter and johannorth. After that comes Fourever you Pt 2, with 'Beside the Sky' (tonfahphoon) being the first one. their first two episodes take place BEFORE and during Fourever You pt1, then episodes 3-8 take place after Fourever You pt 1. 'The Sun from another Star' is arthitdao's story, and is the next one to watch. 'Lately, it's Winter Season' (tigernao) is the last one, although honestly, you could watch this one anytime during pt 2, since it's kind of a series on its own and, despite johannorth appearing in multiple episodes, doesn't really connect to the overall plot of Fourever You pt 2 (with maybe the special episode next week as the exception) hope this makes sense! 🤗
story-wise, this was pretty much a mess. no continuity on many parts, half-written romances that mostly play out off-screen and then come back to confuse us. it's a shame, because the cast is pretty steady, but it's like they tried to take too much time during the first 6 episodes, and then had to rush everything to wrap things up before the final episode.
I'm surprised to see so much disappointment for this series. I absolutely loved it. It was such a beautifully filmed story and PearlePeak were magnetising together. Although I liked their previous series, it was very heavy on the drama and angst part, which of course it what you get for a lakorn. But I'm glad they eased it up just a little bit for this series and added some lightness here and there. My only complaint was the amount of montages we got in the last two episodes, that was completely unnecessary. Other than, I loved it!
i kept putting this off because of the reviews, but i finally watched it this day. and it's really good! you can tell it wasn't originally meant to be this lighthearted, or for this series to only have 10 episodes instead of 12. so the pacing definitely suffered as a result. but it was still a very charming series. bounprem are a natural fit together, their longtime partnership shines through during their scenes. it was also nice seeing barcode finally back on screen, it's been a while! i will definitely rewatch this again.
I was looking forward to this story of the 2nd season the most, but it didn't entirely live up to it. It was a nice, slow change from Beside the Sky, but I felt like it couldn't evenly spread out the pacing. They spend a lot of time on the first part of their arc, with Arthit's friend, that it kind of lost meaning for the second part with his mother. Then the last two episodes felt very rushed suddenly. NgernOat have insane chemistry that I felt like wasn't explored to its fullest potential, and that's a shame.
it had a bit of a rough start with multiple timejumps and flashbacks in the first 2 episodes. but it's really good, and peat in particular is SUPERB in this series. it's insane how easily he switches emotions and essentially personalities throughout each episode. it's toxic as heck, absolutely. but if you can look past that, this show is a must-watch.
can't believe i get to be alive in a world where we have TWO seasons of only friends. this season is another banger so far and the entire cast is incredible. i can't wait to see all the drama that will unfold.
