I wanted to type this in the thread of favorite quotes below, but the thread is a mile long๐ So I'm typing it here
But, so what if it hurt? One foot in front of the other, Wedding robes fluttering in the air -Chu Wanning walking away alone with a bleeding shoulder after the butterfly town Ghost marriage having been lashed at by MoRan for injuring ShiMei
I committed all kind of transgressions all my life, but now I want to lead a proper life. However if no one will lend me a hand, then I'm still that same Mo Weiyu. -MoRan to RongJiu in the underworld
The more nervous as I get closer to home, I dare not ask even the passersby- MoRan while searching for Chu Wanning
But Chu Wanning was like a person frozen for too long. To be suddenly put into warm water, what he felt wasn't warmth but pain. He'd never been wanted before, so he didn't feel anything, even frozen. But now that there was someone to treasure him, to surround him with warmth, it was as if he finally had the right to feel pain, and suddenly every inch of his body hurt, and every inch of his skin cracked. Only now did he feel the pain. ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Those who rarely recieved warmth never had the right to too many choices. Anyone who was particularly good to him, he would revere zealously. "What do you like?" This was something he never dared to think of in his conscience. Whether it be appreciating beauty or making decisions, it was the rhetoric of the rich. To Mo Ran whatever others gave him was his. He should be grateful if there was anything to eat, shed tears if there was anything to wear - "Like?" He'd be no more than a raving lunatic. On what grounds could he like anything? How could he dare like anything? What right did he have to like anything? He only had a cheap life he had to struggle for with all of his powering order to pathetically keep. -MoRan when the village girl Ling-er asked him what did he like
You have no choice, however much it sickens you. You chose to be virtuous, you chose to be a good person. Since that's the choice you made, then it's only your duty to sacrifice yourself to save everyone else. If you refuse, then you are a swindler, a pretender, a fake, worse than animals. -The Chu Xun arc when people demanded he save them benevolently and let his wife and son die.
Shizun is the best best shizun. This disciple is the worst worst disciple.
Shizun, pay attention to me, won't you?
Two lifetimes, they belong to you. No regrets.
The morning sky was often pale before the rising sun breaks thfought the clouds to dust a blush on her cheeks and bath her in warmth; few people rose this early, so she didn't bother painting her wan, tired countenance.
In truth, he was afraid that he'd offer up his warm, beating heart to some one, only for that person to casually set him aside to cool. That was why he'd always hide his kind deeds, though he was otherwise an open and straightforward person.
I have a sibling who's 14 and I can't for the love of my life imagine that person reading 2ha ๐๐ I'm curious as to how you came across such intense reading taste being so young though, it's kinda intriguing. I was in the library at that age looking for books without romance, because in my silly mind romance was the forbidden land of evil๐
Does anyone elses body clock works on another time zone instead of where they are. Yeah I'm high on caffeine again.…
I personally start functioning arounf 12 am, that's around when my cells are all pumped up and brain works vigorously to compensate for wasting away my day with even more wating away into the late night๐๐๐
Everyone is just channeling their collective energies to convince the powers that be to air this drama already.
Hope this chanelling will break the barrier of penguin land and give us access to HYX :-) At this point, I'm just here to read all the comments and type some, relieve my stress and pretend like HYX can't faze me anymore.
It is really good, but has a heavy political setting, which means the story has a lot of underhanded scheming and it takes some time to get accustomed to the wide range of characters, their motives and the plot in general. I was hesistant to read in the beginning since politics seemed to be intimidating and boring. Nevertheless, when I started, I was hooked. The pacing is beautiful and elegant and the main character and male lead just had so much tension and hate between them and somehow there's always a strong sense of attraction between the two too. The MC is like a fox, beautifuly weak on the outside and horrifically strong and cunning on the inside. Once you get the hang of it, it's hard to place it down.
Guys.......? I wasn't here for a day and now I come back to see 9K comments. If we could earn money commenting, we'd be Elon Musk's Godfather by now๐๐ By the way, has anyone completed reading Qiang Jin jiu in here?
I really hope we won't turn into one of those pages where every time someone says something negative about a show,…
So true. People are allowed to have their own opinions about everything, afterall everyone's mind and though process works in a different way!! As long as the comments are not degrading/violent/immoral, they are very much acceptable and viable.
Btw are any of yall following up with Case File Compendium. Things are getting super interesting after the first…
Noooooo T_T You're making it hard for me. I don't prefer to read ongoing novels, especially not Meatbun's. I'd never survive the suspense given her way of writing, and all I'll do is frantically wait for the next update. At this rate, my life will become a compilation of me waiting endlessly :-)
I had a nightmare last night some organized hate group dug out some nasty dirt on Luo Yunxi and Chen Feiyu and…
No, no. Nothing like that's gonna happen. We're gonna get the drama someday, watch it and rant endlessly over here saying that the drama is "An absolute unit. Truly awe inspiring" ๐คญ
Waiting for HYX has seriously and genuinely been a tad bit easier with you guys around. Having people to rant with is really nice๐ This page feels like a support system.
Anyone new to this page is gonna be so confused looking at the "Invalid date of airing". They'll wonder why it's not "Completed airing" looking at the number of comments and try searching for the drama. They'll come back not being able to find it, try reading the comments and then realise: "Ohhhh, clownery"

Guys, to commemorate yet another upgrade to our clown masks, let's discuss who do you most identify with among all the characters of 2ha? And which character do you find the funniest? I personally identify with some of Chu Wanning, social places are definitely no no for me, unless there's no way out. I keep to myself a lot. I identify with a miniscule part of Shi Mei too. The funniest person has to be Lucun Elder, he appears very few times, but his dialogues are the best. "My humble self feels like a cheap napa cabbage right now, laid out in the stall for little Mo-gongzi to pick" When MoRan picked out Chu Wanning as his shizun and held both of his hands: Lucun elder in his foppish glory twirled a strand of hair around a finger and batted his peach blossom eyes. "Aiya, the little gongzi sure is bold, truly young and courageous, to dare grope even Yuheng elder's ass" ".....Could you please not say it so nauseatingly like that" Qisha said eith disdain. Lucun gracefully rolled his eyes, "Hm, I'll say it in a more refined manner then. Truly young and courageous to dare grope even Yuheng elder's derriรฉre." Qisha, "............" Just kill him and be done with it. These two lines never leave my mind along with: "Absolute unit, truly awe inspiring" ๐๐๐
Yuwu is just pain pain everywhere. Every part of if has a feeling of despair, sadness and longing that we get used to the setting pretty much. When things do go even more tragic, it feels surreal. But 2ha is just random carefully built knives out of nowhere that could stike even in between happiest scenes, and the angst is no joke. Both are tragic, but 2ha made me cry more, maybe because yuwu mainly focused on darker side of the plot and I got used to reading the pain.
