Sincere review coming in a few hours! 5/16/22 11:04 pm REVIEW here 8 stars out 10 and only because it was a good production, or it would be 7.5.
What I liked: *Special Effects *Cinematography *Acting skill of actors (LuSi crying scene ep40, BRAVO) *Wardrobe *The first and Last few episodes. (introduction of characters, characters from different kingdom meeting, on last episodes finally some action) *The few cutesy scenes the leads had as a couple. *Yang Yang being the first in love usually is the other way around. His selfless act! Kill me. *NO jealousy acts, no exes. *Strong female lead
What I didn't: *Romance (It felt like it had started before the drama started like we were stolen parts) *After a few first episodes the drama was a snooze fest. It was very but very focus on the fight for the throne and not with fighting that happened on the last episodes but the plotting, talking and talking and more scenes of just talking. Until the fighting started then talking and talking again lol then The Wedding after talking and talking. More war plotting talking and talking. Extreme dialogue. *NO secondary couples to at least distract us from all the talking. *Lack of kisses (I know it historical but I seen historical with more than one or two kisses. We know neither lead actors back off of doing kissing scenes so I was waiting for this mind blowing kiss scene.) *Plot was slow but *The ending felt rushed after the snooze feast of talking which between the war we still had (plotting)like it was war war, killing killing, boom the end insert cute scene. I prefer a chill last episode where we get to reminisce of things that happen and we get to enjoy the leads being chill and happy.(we got that but only a few minutes like the last few minutes. Dude at least give mehalf of the episode.)
Some of this Short Dramas are not bad.. And sometimes it is Quite nice what they make with such a Short Runtime....…
Yeah that seems good because you get an hour per four episodes. 20 episodes you get 5 hours. And you said it’s like 130 episodes.
This one was of 12 episodes and 8 minutes length, how can you develop a good plot or romance. It seem messy like they cut a lot of scenes, like many time jumps. I seen short ones that at least if you add all the episodes together you get a 2 to 3 hour long video.

No problem! I hate when they lie to me so I watch dramas they like. Or say ooh is not that boring and is super boring. Or there is not cheating and there is.
7 out of 10 stars (that is me being nice) Man Usually I do a What I liked and What I didn't like but this has more dislikes so I will just write a few.
What I like: *Okay first I started this because I like the actress from Novoland and I was trying to watch her in more dramas. So her I like the actress hahaa.
What I didn't like: *I'm not a big fan of Allen but I'm like give him a chance but his character sucked! Yes he has some Park core moves but that's it. *The whole drama was messy nothing blew my mind. *Something majorly sucked lol is a big spoiler so I won't say.
7.5 out of 10 stars I watch Fox Summer, this had things that are similar but felt completely different to me. Overall, an okay lakorn, cute just to pass the time. (This is not a love triangle this has three guys liking her so RH lol)
Things I liked: *The leads, I love both the actor and actress. More her I watch all her dramas if its romance. *The Neighbor guy, he was freaking adorable and cute. *The chemistry was there but hmm not amazing (not like her with her my ambulance costars) *How faithful and a good friend his assistant was towards the ML and the bromance they formed.
Things I didn't like: *Some of the side characters were annoying AF * For being a Fashion lakorn some of the clothes looked cheaply made, example the important red dress. The bling looked glued on, like Just there outlining her figure. * The Plot overused. *If you don't like annoying secondary lead guys this is not for you. One was not annoying but the other one OMG NO!

The neighbor is very respectful of her and doesn't bother her but he is present and helps her out. The friend of fl and brother of the lead guy that one is annoying and once kissed her by force, he tries really hard to get her to date him. Yes he accepts her loving his brother but way until the end.

My review is about what I Liked and what I didn't) What I didn't like: *They left an open ending just in case they want to do season 2 *Why I don't like the idea because I bet the same cast won't be in it. *I didn't like that the sub plot of romance wasn't concluded, like what happened to them. I was expecting at least friendship maybe even just a text of him to her. But NADA! *Some parts were too childish and extreme fantasy like the carousel horse taking off to the sky is a big no to me. *Them forgiving the dad.
Now What I liked: *The sister bond *The society taboo topics *The female leads and magician friendship *How pretty lead girl was I can't wait to see her in more dramas.
Omg no one knows the joy I was having when watching the last two episodes and the reason..... ***suspense music playing*** Because I imagine the viewers who hated Tae Man having a redeemed story rolling around on their bed like little children throwing a tantrum. I'm not excusing his behavior before his jail time but I also saw his life behind the glamorous life. Not every Villian deserve a redemption but the write thought TM did. His character growth was amazing.
Okay now to the overall plot, love that they talked about taboo topics, I heard ex Korean military men talk about the molesting of men to men on the miliary. its a slow romance drama.....plus its title is who rules the world ... definitely there will be politics ...ya…
Yeah but I seen politics historical drama with more action. And like I said is not just the romance so is not me whining about slow burn romance. That’s cool you like it and love them as couple but I don’t feel the vibe not yet at least.
So far, my review of ep 1 thru 14 (It's my opinion don't come at me saying but I think, or you are wrong, yah is my opinion) *Is the chemistry the best I ever seen between two leads? Nope. I have seen him have more chemistry with other actresses and I have seen her have more chemistry with other actors. *The plot is so slow and boring, so far. I know it can't be pure romance or fighting scenes, but I have seen a few dramas with the perfect mix. Again, so far I'm not getting that from this drama. Mostly is talking and talking. The part of investigations is not even my problem those can be fun. But example daddy king and witch queen talking, yawn alert. *For me the most exciting thing on this drama has been Lu Si and Yang Yang interactions, and When people (princes, princesses, masters etc etc) meet for the first time with any of the leads or the duo, Example Huang chao meeting Xi Yun. I'm thinking of waiting for more episodes cause the waiting is excruciating.
Not one likeable character on this. The dads of the leads plotting until the end for the leads to end together with no care whatsoever of their kids' feelings. The FL's dad was a major racist, who said If he is not a Korean man, he is not a good man. I understand being proud of your race and country but dear lord not every Korean man is good. The ML's family pushing him to marry because they thought because of a few misunderstandings that he was gay. Homophobia at is finest. Don't get me started on the grandma. The FL's sister was annoying as heck sweet talking everyone ear's off. The ML's mom thought her son was perfection (he wasn't) like he could walk on water, always whining. One of the worst family dramas I seen.
Wow so freaking adorable! The two couples are so good looking and so cute together. This is very bubbly, very easy to enjoy. Felt rushed that’s why it was 7.5 out of 10 stars.

Nothing exciting just a mellow drama.
