It was a fun drama.
I watched it based on a recommendation of secondary couples but even tho I love their “romance” I don’t get why they wasted the kissing scene on a imagination but didn’t kiss when they are in a relationship.

Yeah I understand that part she is holding on to that slim chance.
From what I saw in today’s episode they are kind of softening her character more with the kitten lol I totally predicted that they will do that. Making her more like able.

I saw the movie and The drama gives a lot more info, like in the movie there is no mention of the brother and we didn’t see how close An Sheng was to Qi Yue family. That An Sheng first boyfriend mistreated and was a bum with no job. That she meet a guy who became her friend.
Maybe that’s why I dislike Qi Yue more in the drama because we saw the good things An Sheng did for Qi Yue as teens.

Yes! Playing the victim doesn’t suit her right. If she didn’t know I would understand her anger cause who would like her BF looking at your Bestie with love eyes.
As I see it An Sheng is always on the losing side. And now she likes her guy best friend? Like what the heck!
From what people say The guy doesn’t have those kind of feelings for An Sheng but from what I seen it does hurt her that Qi Yue likes him and that he is giving Qi Yue attention. And maybe start to like her. I’m watching with out subs so I’m not sure 100% what’s going on but I can guess in some scenes with actions they are doing.

Yeah I love talking about topics even when we don’t share the exact same opinion. The best way is to respect the other person’s opinion and listen, after give yours with the same respect They did, But it is hard finding people like that in the internet. Gladly I bump into you and also the others replying to my comment haven’t been rude. :)

Also sadly for me as a viewer if I have this perception of this character as evil, or selfish or rude even if later they try to redeem them I can’t seem to like them no more.

I don’t know the correct word to use to explain myself correctly, if using selfish or self center to describe her is the correct way. I know of people who has had family members attach to machines for years but they can’t seem to let go. Like you said is hope and it’s the hardest decision to make. My husband and his siblings had to let go of their mom, they had her on high doses of morphing just to subdue the pain she was in. And it was like that for no more than two weeks. But they preferred to let her go than know she was like that suffering.

I know we all go thru grieving in different ways, example my husband family in the funeral there was crying and lots, and a month later their aunt pass away and when we went to his cousins house to go to the funeral the next day they were like nothing they even said let’s go out to eat. My husband brother was pissed off by their reaction but we told him not everyone goes thru grieve in the same way. So I totally understand that aspect of her reactions.
But like I said she can’t keep going on like that forever, they shouldn’t let her partake in anything related to her dad without a clear mind. The last decision on what to do with the dad it’s her moms decision. If she is nice enough she will take the daughters opinions in consideration but in reality she doesn’t have to.

That’s why I clearly say is a hard topic to talk about or give an opinion about. And
I never said it was an easy decision to make. My husband went thru it and recently my closest friend, so I know it’s not easy.
But the words she uses aren’t of a person who are hopeful to find a cure or treatment, she just want him there to see him. Sadly I can’t post here a screen shot of the scene where she said it, And maybe the way they subbed it or the script is not the greatest to express exactly what she feels.
How long has the dad been in that situation, a month? A year? If it’s something recent I would understand that they let her lash out everything but is she going to use the situation forever and everyone will just listen to her name calling. Will they give her a free card to insult her family forever.
On the scene of the restaurant everyone just let her judge John because of her fears, not even a chill out or a you are being rude.
but is okay if we don’t see eye to eye on her situation or the way she expresses herself.
That’s the beauty of thinking differently or not interpreting the same thing the same way.

From what I know it’s no recommended for a doctor to be involved when is a relative or someone close, the same with Law enforcement officers.
SY is humane and that trust me as a patient I been a few times is notice and appreciated. You notice when a doctor or nurse is not attached to their emotions and they don’t care how they talk to you and explain to you what you have or even when they poke you with the needle to hard . A big example is when SY and her sister have to work together on doing some studies to the resent patient that felt too much pain. You see the difference of being humane to a patient or not.

I can see why the sister gets like that tho it must be hard.

Yeah I know what you mean I seen behind the scenes of dramas and sometimes they don’t look comfortable than when time passes they look more comfortable. Maybe because I know that Sandra and Deng Lu are super close friends I see it this way but maybe they will surprise me when the romance scenes come out.

I think the topic between The lead girl’s family is a very touchy topic to talk about. Because if we aren’t in that position we can’t just speak up, if we say something we sound heartless.
But I sincerely can’t stand the sister, she keeps telling her feelings and her thoughts about her dad case and no one speaks up about it. They just listen. It must be hard but the mom, aunt and lead girl at least see it like it’s maybe to late for the dad but she calls them killers or insensitive.
*don’t attack me* but I think she is being self centered, she only wants her dad alive even if it’s only attach to machines. She doesn’t care about his pain if he is there for her to see him. (She said it like that in an episode) I don’t think the mom and aunt even lead girl haven’t look for cures or treatments, but She just sees it as they just want him dead.

I seen a few that even as friends I can even feel the chemistry.
I seen a few that I feel no chemistry at all.
I seen a hand full where even on episode 2 I felt the chemistry pouring of out of their pores and at the end the leads end up dating.
In this case I feel nothing more than friendship and I feel it more beyond than just Acting. They are comfortable with each other. The way they goof around, the scene on the jacuzzi was super fun too watch because you could see they had fun filming it, how about when she did his make up and he smiled so big. If they can give us a romance chemistry that’s a big bonus.

Is there actually romance in this? Or just like a friendly hug here and there?
And not just with the leads with other couples too?

But they did have some good kissing scenes lol

Deng Lun and Sandra Ma are like best buddies in real life, like more like a Bromance than a girly and guy friend.
So kissing scene? What do you guys think?
Two episodes are out and I think they look so comfortable with each other, I will give it time but I think I won’t feel romance chemistry.

•First she knows Jia Ming likes her friend and she is like “who cares”
• she is dating JM she hates how he looks at her and gets jealous about it! And just pins all her anger at An sheng when AS just wants to be close to her and doesn’t show any lovely feelings towards JM. He is the one you should freaking throw shade for still liking your friend after years of being with you. GURL you knew he loved her not you, so suck it up Buttercup.
•years pass and AS is living her life with our QY and her past. AS meets a guy who is more like a best friend and helps her out, now QY likes him. Dude stop stealing things that aren’t yours. Even if it’s just her friend why him?
She is like a Wolf in Sheep clothing.

What secret relationship? From what I saw An Sheng and JiA Ming bump into each other and he took care of her when she was sick and that’s when She showed up. But I saw no romance going on. Qi Yue is pretty twisted she knew he had a crush on her friend and still went out with him. Always hating on An sheng even when it was him looking at her with love eyes.
What episode are you on? Maybe I’m to ahead and I don’t want to give spoilers.
