I kinda like that this drama really doesn’t follow the novel fully .. so it’s even more unpredictable . I just love Ye Li and MXY both scarred but both so strong and intelligent … esp working BTS their revenge …..

My take is ptsd .

She’s dead and YeLi s interaction with the maid is a coping mechanism / psychological .

Firing on all cylinders . A great script /adaption . Great director . Two great actors Bai Lu and Cheng Lei . Dubbing their own voices …. Keeps us guessing what’s real what’s not and what will happen …. Traumatic pasts and revenge is their goal ….. HOOKED . These two r killing it .

The burnt guy was involved in the fire on Lushan but the primary movers r the empress Gou Jun and Muyang . From my understanding the people in Lushan r dead and she is the one to have escaped . Now I don’t kno how many other survived in the end . She pretends everything is good to protect herself . Also acting naive …

Ye Li is strategically intelligent … love it . And MXY and Ye Li are going to be the perfect match .

Loving this . I was in a drama glut for awhile . Only enjoyed one drama this yr . Love Bai Lu , Love Cheng Lei . Each has their own agenda and a traumatic past .

Tencent dramas r one of the leaders in C drama hits ! And how can u pretend P A doesn’t exist when Rebirth is considered a sequel to P A ? Rebirth didn’t do well across the board not just Douban . Tian Tian Mabe more suitable for other dramas not this one at this stage in her acting career.

PA had its shortcomings for sure but it was still one of my fav dramas . The end was devastating . So when I heard of a sequel I was overjoyed but also know they had big shoes to fill . But this Rebirth is ……

And the irony is one poster laffed at PA rating of 5.3 on Douban saying it was pathetic . Loool
