It’s not fair to say JX was irrational ! She was blindsided. In her view she sees betrayal because HT. kept that secret from her. Her pride and joy her company. We from the outside looking in can see what’s happening. But she sees what’s in front of her. She was humiliated . I can understand HT also but he should of handled the situation better.

I understand Han Ting grew up in that environment . Has to protect himself but he should have been more honest to Ji Xing. Even though he s protecting the one he loves he’s also hurting her . Even he knows that.
