After his just walking in past the uncle last week I wondered the same thing. Of course, why did the uncle open the gate to begin with? Don’t they have to open the gate for people to come in?

Personally, I don’t either have changed, one of them just wants the other to think the other has given up. I also think that JH still thinks he has a chance with MR and he will fake whatever is needed to make the marriage happen. I don’t think the chairman has given up uniting the founding families in a business contact marriage.

It seems like everyone bad mouths KS behind his back. Especially those who sit at the gossip table 24/7 with nothing better to do. I hate the way SJ talks to and about and treats KS and JD but I can be more forgiving of her because she doesn’t claim friendship or family ties like the others. The others pick him apart every time they sit down together and that includes HR and HS but then to his face make him feel loved and appreciated. With family and friends like that who needs enemies? 😡

I cannot understand why MR is keeping her mouth shut about them using her to take over HDF. Of course, Jae-Hyun’s only concern is having someone there to do his job so he can continue writing his screenplay. This is why I don’t believe either JH or the big D have truly changed. Both their plans to take over the company have been years in the making so I’m just waiting for round 2 to start. I also don’t believe the chairman has given up on getting MR and JH married so I look for him to always bring up JH. It’s a business merger of the two families whose ancestors started the company together and the chairman isn’t going to back down from making it happen.

I was afraid MR would not allow it since he withheld the truth from her. He’s only known himself a few days so I’m sure he is still processing the info himself and it really was not his place to tell it. Something that big needs to be said by the person who created it.

Possibly JD’s dad. His reactions to KS raising a child who wasn’t his by blood have always been a bit over the top. As @Sher1268 said just theories. Nothing much to do since no new episodes today and tomorrow.

You know I’m right there with you on how gross I think she is. Obviously, the actor is doing a great job when her character is hated so much.

We will see how much SD truly loves JD since he knows JD’s feelings on having HR as a stepmother. Is getting KS married off to a woman who will give him money more important than his granddaughter’s feelings and opinion? Sadly, I don’t know the answer but feel like he’s such a lazy scumbag he will ignore JD’s feelings and continue trying to change her mind toward HR. If he thinks HR is so awesome then he needs to be her new toy so at least he’s doing something for the money he is leaching from her. SD and HR are two of a kind and would make a better couple than HR and KS.

I guess all bets are off regarding the reputation of her school when it pertains to the owner/director/teacher. She must have her own set of rules that pertain only to her. Would love to see MR open her own small school and JD and JP leave HR’s behind since HR thinks having the heir to HDF at her academy is going to draw in other rich kids for her.

I asked yesterday in a post are they getting ready to put YJ and JH together since out of the blue something was said that made me wonder if they are going to put those 2 together. I’m not thrilled by the pairing because KS will always feel the need to keep MIL appeased, even after he moves on, so JH will always be a part of KS and MR’s life. Unless as @Sher1264 said they send them to America to live. Maybe MIL will go live with the favorite daughter SJ once she raises from the dead. I hope it was just one of those previews that makes you think something is going to happen but doesn’t.

And the darling Dong’s are making me nauseous every time they are on with their fake smiles and gracious attitude toward each other. I didn’t know a round of chess was that healing. I am just waiting for round 2 because I don’t for one minute think they have given up taking over the company and I think both think if they can impress MR she will relent and marry JH.

What makes me mad is even if he wasn’t interesting in MR romantically, he would still be the type of guy to stay up all night trying to track her or anybody else down. I already said on another post she made a threat against MR but wrapped it in a “concerned parent” who just happened to see KS and MR talking. Good lord, evidently everyone in that area has nothing better to do that report on other peoples business. How would their talking lead to a bad rep for her academy? I get how they would know MR because she is a teacher but how do they know KS? How does MR and KS standing or sitting talking rank against her trying to wrangle a dead drunk KS into a hotel. Did she even think about the fact had she got him in the hotel and had sex while he was that drunk she would be guilty of rape so how would that reflect on her academy’s reputation? Oh, she makes my blood pressure go up.

Sorry, I was finishing up Heartstrings so I don’t end up sitting down in the morning to watch just a couple episodes instead of doing laundry and cleaning my apartment like I have the last couple of days.

Agree with all those. I was glad CR kind of put SJ in her place today but until someone stands up and backs her down, like her husband, nothing will change with her.

It’s about time and KS needs to do the same thing with his MIL not just JH since MIL causes list of his stress.

I think JP is helping JD get her grades up and meeting on the down low. She is working on more homework than I’ve ever seen before. Maybe she will be the doctor she told KS she’s been when she grew up. ☺️

Why does this woman (HR) have an academy teaching children? As an employer she is way out of line every time she demands to know why MR was with KS. And the whole a parent saw it and she didn’t want the gossip was a threat wrapped in the concern of a parent. Unless MR’s contract stated she couldn’t date a parent or KS himself she has no leg to stand on. Hopefully KS tells her exactly why he is looking for MR..that he is concerned but also he likes her but I think he only admits that to HS but you know it will get back to HR and work life will become a living h*** for MR because of HR’s childishness.

I guess because she has been under big D’s thumb so long she doesn’t really know how to interact with adult men that aren’t related to her. It’s like she is stuck in her teen years when girls learn to interact with boys and date so 40 years later she is just clumsy with her words and actions. As much as I’m not a fan of hers I do feel sorry for her having been held back by her brother to raise his son.
