In only 18 minutes this series managed to give these characters so much developement. And though the scenes were…
Episode 6 gave Judah a redemption arc. He actually grew as a person. I think as a millennial we tend to have this fierceness compared to other generations. With him. I think it also stems from being spoiled by his lolly. I'm glad he was called out on it though. Not everything is owed to you.
Okay, after rewatching the series again, I think I am getting the dynamic of this series. Tau playing that prank is really how that group operates. From the first episode they played a pranknon Nics with her birthday, then Tep playing a prank that he had a boyfriend. Now that I looked at things differently, Tau doing the jealously thing makes sense for the group. It's what they do.
I really hope we get some clarity on some of these plotlines: Jet and Bianca, Orion, Nics, and if Pangs will ever meet on the show (I know they get a second season). So far, the series is progressing and while I like the show, I am still not a fan of length and editing of the series. I know I have to remind myself that the show is called In Between, so you have to read in between the lines. So I will rewatch it again to see how each part fits together.
Fot me it was a little different, the pacing has been painfully slow. Yes, i forgive them for showing past clips…
This really is an interesting story. I actually like the plot, but I agree about the pacing and editing. It's the repetition of scenes and to only get a quick 10 minute episode. The opening is long and so is the outro. I am wondering how they will resolve it and how soon we will get Pangs season.
To everyone still watching/watching til the end i.e., those whose final opinion we (people who've put this on-hold)…
The first two episodes were really good to be honest, then it just got convoluted and confusing. I feel like they added some much to the show, that the original plot got lost.
so far none of the PH BLs have "I am gay for you only" trope. I hope it retains that energy moving forward.
I'm wondering with the drama "My extraordinary" if they will do that. Ken hasn't really said how he identifies yet. I am loving that they aren't following that only for trend.
Episode 2 was a good episode. There was a slight drop from the excitement and fun of last week's pilot episode…
I love the posts you do! They are always open minded, realistic, yet positive. I agree with you about the acting. They seem to possess skills of newbies or theater actors. Still new, but growing. The story did have some areas that could have been done a bit different. The momentum was lost in some parts, but I am hoping they get the pacing right as they progress throughout the series.
They really wanted me to go down memory lane. It's really been 13 years! This drama really transformed me into a full blown kdrama fan. I do miss the way they shot these kinds of show. It seemed more relatable and real. I mean I have seen people who get mistaken for another gender and just go with it. Honestly, it's their choice how they identify. Then again she still should have told him. I mean...he was questioning himself for a while. Gahhh this show still gets me and I love it!
