i am on 11th episode... this show is so cringey... predictable... and boring...... After finishing "love between…
You insult other people as ignorant and stupid while you are still at episode 11 and saying all trashy things like this is predictable. How much more ignorant can you be?
The director's latest works traumatized me but bloody romance screenwriter and that trailer with the teardrop???…
I know your comment is from 1 month ago. But I want to say I'm with you. Although the genre and the main couple are incredibly attractive to me, the director makes me scared about the quality of the drama. I also hope this one will be different from his previous dramas. .
Since I just finished LBFD, I need something similar right now. I hope this will come out this year but I doubt it since they haven't made any promotions about this.
CY stans STILL twisting their intestines over their gege getting a scripted fan service kiss on the cheek 81809191…
Yeah. I also saw some Weibo posts about that cheek kiss for LAR promotion. Seriously, it's not like they can really go out with him. What’s with their obsession with CY and BY? I also agree about men's fan bases.
Is it really a happy ending? I mean, the first God of War changed the fate of Rong Hao and she suffered a lot as a price for that. They have been emphasizing that since the beginning of the series that there will be severe consequences if one tries to change the fate in the destiny book. DFQC also told XLH that he finally changed her fate. But they didn't show any clues that DFQC do not have to go through those terrible punishments. He just showed up suddenly and the final episode ended abruptly just like other similar Chinese series. Why didn't they just give a complete happy ending?😑
I like CY but I'm getting more and more frustrated at how his fans keep attacking BY. Although BY's fans and CY's fans fell out long ago, I never saw ice creams act rudely like this. On Weibo posts about BY the most toxic popular commenters are mostly CY's fans until now. We can see the likes of them even here sometimes. Why can't they just worship their idol? Why do they want to rip apart BY's career so much? They don't attack his other partners like that. It's the same in Lay's case as well. They only talk trash about BY but never care to insult his other partners like this. BY should sue them.
I was actually waiting for his drama with Xing Fei. Now he is gonna be blocked? Cancel every actor in your country until there is no one left to watch, Chinese people. Well, I think that's not a problem for them as a lot of new actors are going into show business these days.
This and it saddening that as long as ppl hype these MLs up, we won't get good ones again. I don't need them to…
Can't agree more. Majority of the audience today seem to prefer these kinds of sweet and flat male leads. Before I watched this, KTO was all over my Facebook news feed almost every day. People were hyping him so much so I thought that he finally had a chance to shine after being in previous dramas as supporting roles. But no. His screentime and character importance here are pretty minimal. But I'm glad his pupularity has skyrocketed despite this.
The ML could of had a bigger role if they had him doing more "investigating" like some of the earlier episode.…
Tell me about it. I was expecting to see more investigation and scenes where the ml and other attorneys could prove their potential and abilities. I know WYW is the lead whose name is even used as a name of the drama but this doesn't mean they needed to show how other staff at their company are totally useless.
Those "old" dramas with both leads being important and fleshed out are not gone, you simply watched wrong ones…
Thanks for your recommendation. I've watched some of them in your list and I enjoyed KSS. As to MPD, I've been putting of watching it as I don't like the actress there very much. But it has a lot of good reviews so I'll definitely watch it. I really hope you are right and I want to see more kdramas with the amazing leads as those 3 dramas that I mentioned really made me worried to put my faith in newer kdramas again.
I don't know if it is a trend of new kdramas where the male leads act like extras. The kdramas that I've recently watched (Why Her?, Jinxed at First, and Extraordinary Attorney Woo) all have male leads that contribute nothing to advance the plot except being love interests of female leads. I really miss watching those old kdramas where both ml and FL were equally important for the plot. I don't think romance is necessary here as the writer didn't put in efforts to flesh out the relationship of the main couple. In fact, the writer didn't even try to focus on any character's development here. I always look for interesting plot/amazing chemistry of the lead couple/character growth in every series. But sadly, this one didn't possess any of these features. Although the beginning episodes were promising and engaging, the plot became boring due to the same way they handled each case. They worked together to solve the cases, and some useful ideas came to WYW as a form of whales at the last minute and they won the trial. Some few cases and arguments at the court in some episodes were entertaining and they also gave moral lessons. But there was neither major plot nor character growth apart from the sudden change of character of Attorney Kwon? This is just a sequence of simple cases with an autistic genius attorney. But I could finish it because I love PEB's cuteness and KTO's sweet smiles.
Actually it's there. U can check it. The name is 'thousand years for u'
Same. At first, I wasn't very interested in it as it seemed to be a Republican drama but the trailer was intriguing. It was like a mixture of palace politics, xianxia and Republican era? I've never seen any Chinese series like that. How they will unfold the story is totally beyond me.
