My recomendation is to watch non of them. S1 was really good 10/10, S2 failed to continuo what was left in s1 and became a mess. So if you don´t want to watch s1 (which is really worth watching) then don´t waste your time in this one. I think you won´t understand either way if you did not watch s1.
If it's Kang san then it's a predictable end couple.
That happend in lit 99% of romatic dramas, the end couple is set from the begining and no one has complained until now. Why is that a thing now? I think people are over reacting bc he is a rookie.
