Porsche's character arc with Chay is really disappointing.
His focus and worry from episode one evaporated

Kan is a asshole but he's made it pretty clear even to the last minute that he didn't want Porsche harmed so I would think he wouldn't want Nam's other son hurt either.

Porsche forgot about Chay AGAIN!
If Kim didn't know Chay would be in danger he'd probably be dead because Porsche didn't bother thinking of protecting him.

I don't think Korn intended for Porsche to live.
I think he wanted to draw Kan into a fight and take out second family by using Nam's son and then after the dust settles have Kinn and Kim infight for head of main family.
But Kinn falling for Porsche changed his plan.
It be ironic if Korn's family started as bodyguard and got greedy and it gets taken away by a former bodyguard

Loved Kim's scene protecting Chay then staying to make sure nothing else happens, but letting Chay see all the death by himself would be really scaring so I wonder if Kim is unintentionally showing Chay how he was raised and by giving Chay all this trauma and pain he makes Chay darker even though he's trying to keep him safe.

I had similar thoughts that Nam's family was mafia or powerful because Porsche's dad said Korn's father destroyed her family and took her.
Kan said Korn is as bad as their father so maybe that family took over and has been trying to control what isn't theirs like you said.
