Does anyone know if this series will cover Xiao Ruo Feng’s death? I watched both TBOY and DY, in TBOY Xiao Ruo Feng is dead already but in DY the show ended without covering his story arc so will this series finally cover his tragic downfall?

I prefer waiting till episode 20 for Youku dramas, their airing schedule for dramas are a mess and I hate being left on cliffhangers. Example LITC suddenly changed airing schedule to only 1 episode for 4-5 days this week when they were airing 2 episodes per day for 5 days last week.

I have nothing against Song Yi, her acting in this show improved quite a lot as compared to her other shows. But my personal opinion is that her voice could’ve been dubbed, her original voice is quite high pitched and don’t really give off commanding general type, especially in scenes where she commands her army to go to war.

IQiyi probably wanted to make use of Cheng Lei’s popularity during the airing of LOTFG, but from what I see most watchers from LOTFG are holding off from watching Shadow Love as they are still unable to move on from LOTFG. They probably did not anticipate that, as a huge LOTFG fan, I held off on watching this show so as to not compare both, but will probably start watching soon

When will this show finish airing? I am holding off watching it until all episodes are out, don’t want to suffer through the waiting like I did with LOTFG😅
