Tantai Jin is a very different person in the novel. They make him too good in the drama making people hate the leading lady when she doesn’t deserve it. He would torture people and kill them if they crossed him. Their relationship is also different. They also changed how events happened. For example Grandma did not die from poison. They just lied and said she was captured to lure out the leading lady so his younger brother could capture her. There were two brothers in the book, the older brother he killed then the younger brother is the one who came to take the throne and captured the two women. Also in the novel she replaced his evil bone and then jumped off the Tower. In the drama it doesn't make it look like she jumped but she jumped. There is also the attack of the Demon Wasp that shows that Tantai Jin wanted to kill her from the very beginning. I enjoyed the novel more than the drama.

Okay, I've read the novel upto the immoral arc. The drama is a lot different than the novel. The Tantai Jin's personality in the novel is more like a wolf but in the drama he's more like a puppy dog. I prefer his personality in the novel over the drama. Su Su's personality is also different. The relationship between the two is also different. I prefer the relationship in the novel over the drama. Their interaction in a novel was so much more fun.

The Tantai in the novel is more cruel than the one in TTEOTM drama. He's a completely different person who inflicts pain and death whenever he gets a chance. He loaths and hates Xi Wu and has tried to kill her twice at the beginning of the novel as far as I have read. Xi Wu is a more likeable character in the book to me. She struggles with her hatred of him and her compassion for what he's going through. There are some things in the book I wish they included in the drama.

This is the best translation. Tantai has a completely different personality in the book. He's like a different person from the one in the drama.

If they would have kept the leading man like in the book it would have been better.

There was a Thai drama that used real twins. By the end I could tell them apart.

Everyone does realize that Fan Zhi Xin the actor who plays Han Wu Wei is the male lead in My Lethal Man. He looks so different in these two dramas.

He's also from Truth Or Dare. A fluffy hitorical drama that I enjoyed more than this one. He had more chemistry with his leading lady in Truth Or Dare. The secondary couple was also fun.

I don’t see it in the coming soon lineup for the USA. Maybe later or did I miss it?

That's what I had in mind. They could start with their story here then show her coming back.

I'm sure the screenwriters could come up with a story even if it just for 24 episodes.

Who else wants a spinoff of Ye Qing Yu & Pian Ran's love story? Just like they did for TMOPB. I would watch it.

Shin Go Eun should be listed as support or guest role. She was in the first 21 episodes and she might not be back until the end if at all.

If they do then just read the ending in the novel.
