Damn. I was thoroughly entertained. The story, the plot twists and turnsβ¦ The bonds built and tested. I loved…
Did I watch a stripped version? I started it thinking there was bromance but I found nothing. Not even the long glances. Honestly there was more chemistry between Lan and his bestie, that general's son ( Mu Shin or something, I forgot his name)
This group of three suitors are throwing some major red flags. I see the best friend as being the least worry…
OMG THIS! The Team Leader gave me major manipulative AS vibes from that. He just waited for him to be at his lowest each time then jumped in to play the hero
Iβm skeptical about this one, someone let me know if itβs worth my time please
Depends. If you're expecting Khemjira level production or plot quality, with good acting and dialogue, don't. If you want a good supernatural story, then you might enjoy it. I went in for the story, with no expectations for epic plots like Khemjira. I read a lot of supernatural and paranormal story compilations by different authors, so I'm used to reading through good and bad character development and plot, focusing on the stories instead.
My advice? Focus on the story. Back to back amazing shows have risen our expectations to the point that we no longer have the patience for flaws like we used to (veteran bl fans know what I'm talking about). I enjoyed the 1st half of the second story, compared to the first. 2 friends-ish, stuck in a loop of events that repeats every 33yrs. The one who made the bargain dies over and over, and the one he prayed for(?) lives forever, waiting in that hotel, never to step out of the premises. Honestly tho... Does that vampire have nothing better to do? π
Duan forcefully taking off ShuHe's royal robes was hella symbolic. He felt that the way ShuHe keeps clinging to his throne even after defeat was another invincible obstacle to what he wants. As if to say; "You no longer belong to South Hui Kingdom, you belong to me now".
I'm currently at EP 8 now and umm... Am I missing something? How did Sun and Peace's relationship develop to the point of sleeping together? Aside from Sun saving his life at the bridge and then hanging out for half a day after, they haven't spent much time together. All they shared were longing eye contacts and tense warnings. What am I missing? Or am I watching cut episodes?!
Guys, imagine how devastated Tada must have been to hear about Armin's death in the original timeline. The regret, the agony could have damned well destroyed him! Fate didn't send Armin back just to give Armin a second chance. It's was TD's second chance as well, tho he won't know it.
Just watched episode 5. Song Li knows what he's doing. He has from ep 1 but I couldn't confirm it till EP 5. He overheard that conversation and read his diary and still didn't at least try to put some distance or set boundaries. Faking sleep, getting flustered around him, and that video call with the "accidental" shirtless/semi-nude shot... He's been baiting Song Qi! Song Qi shows that he's caught on when he told that story of the Bodhisattva and his adopted dog. "Why did he pretend to be unconscious?" They're dancing around each other now and it's only 1 more episode to go! I need more!!!ππ
I'm seated!
