I never read the novel and I'm glad i didn't, because based on your spoilers, novel XQA doesn't sound like a great guy, just a pervert without sense of loyalty, disgusting even π
This is one of the most anticipated drama for me because I like both leads in another dramas. But even their sweet moments can't help to continue ΰΌΰΊΆβ βΏβ ΰΌΰΊΆ
There's a few things i just do not fancy and im here to rant cuz im frustrated (β ββ .β ββ |β |β οΌ
1. I think the concept of strategist ML was not executed properly. He's concept feels lukewarm; did he became a fool because of love? 2. I like the FL character, she's smart, prideful but not arrogant, i like her banter with ML, except the plot didn't do her justice. Why can't she can't move on on SML and anything relevant with that guy. Let's say if its true that ML had liked Ms Qin fr, that did not justified of her to have a companion for 17 years. And because of that accumulated affection, she's lenient on SML. I do understand why ML always insecure. He always in the dark anyway. Besides, they all have part in killing her, so at least be fair about it. How easy for SML to sway her many times kinda make me disappointed. Tbf, its pretty clear that her brother is already at the edge of sanity when he said he's tired. It wasn't what he wanted but his mom n sister keep on pushing for it. 3. Im not mad about SML as he is pretty justified to be like that. But im tired of his moment with FL. Its so long man.
But this is how i feel, the drama still have comedic scene that i like, i also love most support characters especially Tong Ye. I would recommend people to watch it first cuz it could be a hit or miss.
Ngl im pretty pissed at jxn for this arc, if sneaking into the prison is an honest mistake, the 2nd involvement is not π, she almost bust the whole plan n put other ppl in danger. She said not to stand in each other way but that's all she did π. If im xw, i would flip table already.
N y she go to zz in the middle of fight? She cant even protect herself in there. Not like she knows martial art or smtg.
And wth with yan troup, they r so adamant to take order from xw but its okay to depart with some words from unknown girl just cuz she claims she yan friend? Great.
I love the drama until ep 13 lol. And i love the shaman as the killer; he's fun. Other characters also great. But then, the two that i cant stand.
FL hv powers but she's too stupid to use and she never listen. While SML would hv lived if he actually being cooperative to authority instead of covering information. Honestly, what could hv FL did once he give her the murder weapon? Shes a vet. She's likely gonna be a suspect then.
