If this series was made in the western countries, it would get so much shit and hate. It would probably also get really famous and eye-opening. Is gmmtv really brave enough to make a series with this controversial topic? I hope they are, it looks so good. When ThamePo pilot first came out, I was scared gmmtv wouldn't produce it because of the topic. Now I'm kinda scared of the same thing.
So happy seeing new faces and new ships. Don't hate me, but I'm getting a bit tired of seeing the same couples over and over again. If the couple has good chemistry, why not give them a second series and maybe part of an ensemble cast, but over 4 series for one pair gets a bit boring.
Am I the only one who liked the trailer? Okay, some thoughts: -William looks so good with those glasses 🤓 -I love the color grading so much. In the pilot it was a bit too faint. -I love the cinematography. The scenes are shot so well. -I love how it didn't tell too much about the story -I think either the elevator scene or the neck grab scene is making to the series. They would be crazy to not put them since people loved those scenes. -No comedy to be seen! -I think the kiss scene was their first kiss. Thame looking at his phone and then just "nevermind". -I loved those night call scenes and the forehead kiss scene and the crying scenes and pretty much every scene. -Lol the last scene and the gulp made me scream after crying for the whole trailer. -Can't wait to see the whole series. 3 weeks? Can I just go sleep and you wake me up when it's Friday 13th (💀)
Synopsis google-translated from the description box under the official trailer on YouTube:
"Po" (S Supha) has just been dumped by "Earn" his boyfriend, because "Po is not as successful as him". Po swears to himself that he will never meet the same type of person as Earn again. However, working as a documentary director leads him to meet "Them" (William Jakraphan), the leader of the number one idol group MARS, who is about to leave her bandmates to succeed alone in Korea. The group has to disband. He brands Them just as bad as Earn. But more Por gets to know her as a "human being" not an "idol", the more he realizes that she's not as human as he thought. Por wants to help her get her friends back, whether it be "Nano" (Lego Rapee Phong), "Jun" (Nut Thanat), "Dylan" (Hong Pichetphong) or "Pepper" (Tui Chaiyathorn). Along the way to save MARS, Por accidentally falls in love with her, even though he knows idols cannot have love... and this feeling might be an obstacle for the band.
But what if she wants to love Porn? If she ignores those rules and loves Porn, will the world end?
Yayy I'm so excited! But at the same time I'm not ready yet! What if it's trash? Omg I think I'll get a heart attack soon my heart is beating way too fast...
It sounds so funky I kinda love it

Or maybe they do, and break up in the end. A sad ending would be 🥲
