Yes, 20th Century Girl was very popular, as was his villain turn in Strong Girl Namsoon. Netflix probably don't…
I dont agree. There are few actors who can pull off romcom and action both at same level. And if you add vfx that complicates it more esp for non action stars
No hate just genuinely curious: did BWS star in any popular project except lovely runner? Also isn't lovely runner a romcom? , i don't think he has done any good action/vfx drama till now so it's a risky casting.
This will be either a big hit or a big flop. live action is always very risky. But i am not sure why the manhwa/anime community will want to watch same plot again๐ค, i guess it will attract some new people.
I was expecting to see more shows in 2026 but as things stand, even in 2026 there will be 1 movie and 1 show only and in the movie it's most likely a short role
SK is so weird. Whole culture is based on acting "cute". I understand for female actresses and idols but why do they want grown ass 40 yr old males to behave like a cute princess ๐
You're right but i guess comparing that to this situation is incorrect. Lee se young is not an A list actress…
Yeah i am surprised by their behavior, i guess having die hard fans is not always a good thing. People like aespa karina also got into huge trouble with fans due to dating an actor
"Lee se young" played with a Japanese actor even "jung hae in" worked with a Japanese director in Connection drama…
You're right but i guess comparing that to this situation is incorrect. Lee se young is not an A list actress with huge local fanbase and no one cares about director's nationality.
the reaction from his kfans are blowing me. itโs not even official just a rumor and theyโre already crashing…
Just my opinion: i think it comes down to how good the director and script is...if those are average, no one will care about who was casted as an actress. But having said that, it's true he is focusing too much on japan and japanese fans. How beneficial will it be is a question that will be answered in the future. At the end i think his focus should be on script quality, no matter what anyone says his 2024 dramas had very average writing
I read the premise of disney plus drama " low life" and it seems this the show with ryu seung ryong that was offered to jcw, which he rejected. So disney gave him roles in low life, manipulated and twelve, wow.

They want to run some kind of campaign to oppose this casting
