Even the losers are made to perform, particularly to highlight their talents 😀🤣 I believe the outcomes are often, at least in part, curated by the production team for the most entertaining viewer experience. In the last episode, Ding Chengxin was clearly the winner in 'who is the most prominent dancer in front of the 3 cameras' game but He Laoshi decided to make Wallace Chung the winner 😂 But yes winning Mr Six 🏆 isn't easy and is indeed an honor and privilege to have won. And I have read the novel too and so have some others here. The drama has been a very close adaptation of the novel and all the important parts have been included. Of course it wouldn't have been possible to include every single bit as it would become too lengthy for a modern romance. It could be due to budget issues too.
