If you paid attention to Sang Yan's lines when he said about his sister she's small and she looks like a kid in her 14 (which isnt a bad thing, coz she will look at 30 as she's 18, he also said), it wouldnt be an issue.

Why should they found a younger actor if there is a certain age gap...the age gap is 5 years in drama and 7 years in the novel. Girl was amazed of his handsomeness (asians has a strong fandom culture, fans are usually underage in an important percent and they are all in the same kind of "awe" for their "gege"). There is no love interest when she was 14, so it shouldnt be weird at all. She actually said"I'd love to have a brother lke him"

I simply loved grandma. She's so annoying in the beginning of drama, but that's how her char was written. She's a true Da Ma in drama and Xu Di nailed it. And it couldnt be other way, coz she's a National First-class Actor ( the highest professional title given to an actor)
Grandma has her own arc. In the end of drama, you'll like her
Anyway, the first 3-4 eps are for family settings. Without them, will be difficult to understand the grows of all chars.

Even for HL, which had a very strong romance line, Lusi had HI6 show with ZL (her mother in drama) not with CZY. All materials for cp promotion we had for Lusi's dramas are a few and all were released during airing, never before: cp posters, double interviews, photo shooting (LLTG, HL, TLI), press conf with the whole team. HL is the only drama that had a big promo during airing, a thematic park. We never had cp magazine or cp shows. I guess Pearl wont have a heavy cp promotion, so is better if you keep your expectations low to very low:)
