the starting of this drama was so good. but it became kind of boring and the story went downhill especially after seventh grandmother's death. since ep 1, the only happy event in li family was li zhen earning princess's honour. tian family's scheming became too much repetitive. I thought we will see how much the business of li family grow outside of huizhou. As for ml I thought he would be at least calculative. but he kept failing in his plans. he came to take revenge but couldn’t do a single thing by himself. dare I say its disappointing towards the end

as I said they have to listen whatever their agencies or companies say. everyone's management is different. they have different companies and management system. thats why I said "80%". like li landy and liu yi fei dont like to stay bone thin. they can stay like that because their agencies respect their opinion. song wei long has become too much thin recently. also they give auditions before taking a role.

the only problem fl still has is she thinks her plans are rock solid because she knows what xiao xun is going to do. but she needs to think more deeply. she is missing something everytime. its not because of his skinny appearance actually. in the cdrama industry they cant do anything about this matter. 80% actors and actresses are underweight for their extreme beauty standards. even if they dont want they have to listen to their agency or company. chen duling is also extremely thin. look at song zuer, song wei long, li hong yi. most of them are like this. whenever they need to bulk the ml up they just put more and more layers of clothes in costume historical dramas

future viewers if you are thinking to stop after ep 1, then please dont stop. First episode might feel kinda rushed and cheap but it just gets better and better from ep 2. the scheming is brain wreaking. everyone is so smart.

How did ml become the commander of military with his as* abilities?? he cant even fight like a soldier. he doesnt even have any proper planning. didnt expect his character to be this stupid. every single time tian ben chang gets to know his plans. he is always one step ahead of ml.
