I wasn't liking ML until after 1 hour 30 min mark. He wasn't bad, but I thought that he was like other CEO characters where he's an asshole that doesn't see other people as human until ~love changed him~. ML is a good person, just repressed. And despite hearing his wife's thoughts, he doesn't rely on her to tell him exactly what he needs to do/change and takes the initiative. (Most importantly, he goes down on her unprompted lol.) I began to appreciate Huang's subtler acting atp since it suited the character.

I can't compare it to the other versions since I haven't seen them, but I really liked this just as a drama! The chemistry felt very natural and the romantic leads seemed really like each other as people rather than just lust after each other.
I really loved his voice in How Dare You and was surprised to find out Xiahou Dan was dubbed! The lipsync is really great, it's a testament to his skill.
