The forced marriage term doesn’t actually kinda suit here. Its not like he abduct her and bind her hand and complete rituals.

He just wanted her as her main wife. With their big difference in status its kinda impossible. So he impressed the Emperor and appeal for A decree to marry FL as his main wife. FL also heard and accepted the Decree, cz it was an emperor gift. Judging by that era,It Was supposed to be a Law she should be abide by. And FL accepted that Decree and married into ML house by maintaining proper etiquettes. She is just upset bcz ML didn’t ask for her parents approval.
