OMG!! My heart has broken and healed all in the span of two episodes. Poor Princess. It was too much for me and then to end on such a cliffhanger was just rude and insensitive. 🤣🤣 I think I'll live though, lol
I can't even finish watching episode 9 even though I keep telling myself to relax and just watch, but it has to…
Who knew as soon as I made this post the real drama would begin....he warned her what would happen if his boys found out...smh I feel sorry for both of them. It is truly difficult to find someone who understands you on a whole other level from other people and they still care about you...and don't hold your past against you. Or at least they don't throw it in your face like most people would. Big sigh...
I can't even finish watching episode 9 even though I keep telling myself to relax and just watch, but it has to be said, Liu Yu Ning is one of my favorite actors. He got so much criticism after his role in The Long Ballad that I felt was unwarranted. He played the character as it was written and did what the directors told him to do. To me, he did it well. I understood his character in that drama. Here, he is so adorable and I am enjoying the chemistry he has with the female lead. They indeed look very good together. She is quite beautiful. Definitely enjoying this drama, that is until the issues begin as they have to in dramas that annoy most of us watching. However, we remain, lol. We're still in the early stages, the honeymoon phase, I'm just waiting for the ball to drop. Ok, I'm gonna go back and finish watching...
Hate we only get 14 episodes and only two episodes left. While it is true, the writing kinda sucks and it's been quite predictable, I will never get tired of watching the ML. The brother wasn't too bad to watch either, even though I still don't understand his desperate need to protect Jun Oh. Especially not to go to the lengths he went to and what happened to ole girl.....the actress. I hope they tie up all the loose ends next week. Ooooooo!!!! Stepdad is probably gonna try and use her next. Ha! Who else could he use? SMH...makes sense. Can't wait to see how this unfolds.
I am holding on like a trooper, but this show is so frustrating. All of the “misunderstandings” is ridiculous. How many times does the ML & FL have to misunderstand eachother? How many times does the SML have to watch the SFL walk away and not express himself? Like WTF!! Come on people. Just another drag out the drama to make the drama longer. These misunderstandings could have been wrapped up in 16-24 eps. IJS And how is the FL gonna keep taking advice from someone that’s not in a relationship themselves? Like what? I’m holding on because I normally like the dramas both leads play in, but whomever wrote this one, I’m highly disappointed.
The ending was more than I was expecting, so I am quite pleased. I'm glad they reunited and he didn't die. Again, Nam Yeon Jun, worthless. Not even worth the time he got on screen.
Lee Jang Hyun's daddy deserved what he got and so did the king.
Was definitely expecting a sad ending, so I am more than pleased.
I don't know if this necessarily needs to be tagged a spoiler, but just so not to have to read someone's comment…
There is so much I could say about this drama. It is a combination of sooo many dramas with the heartbreaking story lines or endings. I haven't watched the trailers or previews, I like to be heartbroken and/ or traumatized all at once, lol.
I couldn't imagine having lived back then as a royal or nobility or a general. Always having to watch your back because you never when/ if you'll be poisoned, assassinated, or accused of rebelling all because of someone else's jealousy, paranoia, and greed. You had to be absolutely insane to want to live that life imo, lol. For the king to do that to his own son is just a whole new level of crazy.
I felt so bad for Ryang Eum. To have such an unrequited love for someone and to watch them love someone else had to be like dying a thousand deaths. To watch his beautiful face in such pain was heart-wrenching, but his love for and loyalty to LJH was unmatched. I know it was hard loving someone who only sees you as a friend or sibling.
I wish the princess, Gag Hwa, would have just moved on and left LJH alone, but I know they had to prove just how much he loved YGC that he even rejected a princess ( a bit dramatic, but I get it). To cling to someone so deliriously is just sad. You can't make someone love you.
I was upset it took soooo long for YGC to accept LJH and his love for her. This is the part of these types of dramas I don't like. All the unnecessary drama to prolong the drama, lol. The world is quick to say that good guys finish last and women always want the bad boy, well....while LJH is a bit arrogant (rightly so) he loved her with every fiber of his being. When he told her that all he wanted was her, I about died. How can you reject someone who has almost lost their life several times trying to save you and pledges their undying love for you over and over? I'm sorry, I was mad when she married GWM. I almost stopped watching because of that alone, lol.
I also don't get why she had to be so In love with Nam Yeon Jun. He was useless in life and court. His character had no real value to me. Because I couldn't understand if he really liked her in the beginning why he rejected her and married her friend. Somebody, please explain that. What was his purpose?
Overall, though, I have thoroughly enjoyed this drama. Don't know what to expect in tomorrow's episode, but I'm looking forward to it.
What is everyone going to watch after this? I'm also currently watching Wonderland of Love because of Xu Kai of course and Story of Kunning Palace...just because. Well, I'm enjoying Zhang Ling He's acting, lol, I'm gonna need some more good recommendations.
Can’t do it!!! I tried. Characters are either too flat or too much. I tried. Couldn’t even finish ep 14. I’m irritated with everybody….the ex boss, the ML brother, the FL brother, his ex wife is childish AF. Didn’t have much hope for this drama since I’m not a big fan of the ML & FL, soooo…. I’m bowing out gracefully. You have to be die hard fan to watch this.
I really can’t tell if this is endearing or just creepy AF. Her “weird” personality is unsettling sometimes and while she may not be able to expose who she really is…it seems more cruel to be with these people that were obviously hurt by her death and still haven’t healed from it.
I think episode 3 was kind of weak and filler-ish compared to the first 2. The episode dragged on too much waiting…
My disdain for that ep is not hinged on that one scene, that was just one of my issues. So why we are still trying to make me understand is beyond me. TO ME!! Emphasis on ME!! I didn’t like the scene and how it played out, period. Whatever the writer was trying to convey was overshadowed by the absurdity of it.

that only explains one part if one were to accept that as an explanation….there was way more wrong with that episode than just that scene. I was at the height of my disappointment for ep3 with that scene. besides, she asked about her father, i don’t think she was worried about money in that scene as much as she was trying to figure out what her father knew and what he did and why she had a demon attached to her, but it was too much and nothing at all all at the same time. i just hope we don’t have any more episodes like 3.
I am enjoying the drama BUUUUTTTTTT!!!!!! These long drawn-out scenes are driving me crazy!!! How long do we have to sit and watch a character stare off into space? Or yell at them for being absolutely stupid?
Why was SY standing in that fish store for so long? it's so obvious that they wanted her to get caught by the store owner. Those type of scenes get on my nerves. It's like why are you still standing there stupid?!!!! Get what you need to get and run!!!
Then, why when she got to the professor didn't she tell him what she saw and found out. I get it, she wanted to ask the girl about her father but who is in their right mind after being hunted down by some psycho dressed like a woman? Then they made the professor tell her to go home like what? Why didn't he ask her what she found? These scenes are pissing me off because they are so predictable and obvious.
Then that dayum detective is getting on my nerves, His skepticism is annoying.
However, I like the premise of the story. They just waste too much time on unnecessary dialog and "dramatic effect" scenes. They could have made a better story line or at least made it more content rich with all the time they wasted. IJS!
That was so rude how they ended this episode. I absolutely love this drama so far. So far. We'll just have to see, because writers now a days always try to throw unnecessary drama in with stupid misunderstandings and crap in. I giggled, literally giggled through almost this entire episode and I'm a good and grown woman, lol. It's just so damn cute though.
