Pardon the pun, but I have 'no regret' at all about watching this movie. Was absolutely not what I was expecting, on any level. Gritty, emotional, depressing, but also funny at the most unexpected times too.
I don't think I'm going to survive this show...my rage is eating me alive. Lu Feng sweetie, you get a pass, but oh my wordy lordy - I'm not a violent person but I've never wanted to unleash a swinging baseball bat to the face of the characters of a show as much as I do with this one. Lu Feng, not YOU honey buns...but the rest of them AAARRRGGGGHHHH!!!

I'm almost at the end of Episode 4, and I think that's it for me. It's just too...too...I dunno...poorly done, maybe? I can handle awful dubbing if the rest of the show is good, but this show is just lacking on multiple levels.
There are WAY too many unanswered questions for this to only have one episode left. Having said that, if there ever comes a day that I find out there is no season 2 for this show...then welcome to my villain era. SCD is my personal #1 of 2026.
When Net and JJ first paired together, I didn't quite see it. Their arc in the Next Prince was a bit blah. Episode 5 changed my mind...drastically. They're freaking ADORABLE together, especially in the boat where Klao leans his head against Phop's shoulder, and I could be mistaken, but it seemed like Net (rather than Phop) was the one who couldn't control the tiny little smile that escaped his lips. I came into this with low expectations, and though it took 5 episodes for me to get into it, I'm now hooked.
I was caught by surprise by this show. I thought it would be just another Thai University same old same old BL. I tuned in anyway and I'm actually sorta bummed that next week is the final episode. Domundi is still a bit hit and miss, but when they hit they HIT.
I was so looking forward to this, but this was disappointing. I just feel let down. It had so much potential and yet it squandered it away. I think if this had been released 2 years ago I might have liked it better. Right now there's so many better done shows that this comes off as just "meh". Unfortunate, because I do love Fort and Peat.

I survived season 1, which is why I decided to hold off watching Season 2 until all the episodes were released. I don't, for the life of me, know why I didn't just drop it, and why is it still in my Plan to Watch pile? I don't know—life is full of mysteries. However I've nearly pee'd my pants multiple times reading all the comments this afternoon, so I might just thank you all for your service, and for taking the bullet for me so I don't have to watch it. Lest we forget the braincells you sacrificed
I'm amazed at how many people refer to any male-male film/tv/media as BL...BL is its own genre...and this is NOT it.
This was heart-breaking . I grew up with gems like Liquid Sky. I love stuff that's WTF. I had it pegged in episode 1 that player 2 was in on it. He had an agenda and it appears that agenda was to break Player 1. To have control over him. Why? We don't know. It's obvious that they had a shared history that we are not privy to. We are free to fill in our own blanks. Every person will come at it from their own perspective.
If you feel triggered by dark dramas such as this, then don't watch it. Easy peasy.
Half the people on the planet know EXACTLY how Player 1 was feeling at the halfway point of episode 3. If you don't...lucky you.

If you scroll up this page to where it says "Recent Discussions", there's a post called 'Radio Drama Eps Subbed' that has a link for Youtube. I guess there's a less censored audio book version, so it's just a static image with English subtitles and Chinese voice acting. I'd been SO invested in this series that when it ended like that, it was like *BOOM...emotional damage*.
I'd been scrolling the comments trying to find links to the books when someone else mentioned the radio drama was on Youtube. There's 20 episodes that are an hour long, and it covers both books. I jumped straight in on episode 11 just to ease my broken heart seeing as that's where a possible season 2 would have begun, but after about 10 minutes I decided to go right back and restart on episode 1. I've already been through this story 3 times, so why not make it 4.

I can watch the most unhinged, black flag, toxic, off the wall, dark AF shows with a straight face and maybe a small smirk (it's my jam, I do like 'em dark and dirty). But this show is giving me butterflies and I'm squealing at the screen like I'm 14 years old again. Oh my wordy lordy those 2 are CUTE together!!
How did I not even know this existed until last night. Absolutely zero news on any of the channels I follow, and then last night every 2nd short was this show that I had never heard of. So glad I started watching. Nerdy top, Gangster bottom. Sounds fun, I'm in!!

I've just finished this and had been aware of people's opinion of the ending...but I thought "How bad could it be?"...and man, I'm GUTTED, and seeing as how my personal motto at the moment seems to be 'Delulu is the solulu', I'm picturing a happier more complete ending while I now jump on Google trying to find an English translated version of the novels.
