I guess she’s around 30 year old, And it’s really odd to see people this age living with their parents. Especially when she’s actually making money , and has a decent job. It really is like their maturity and Immaturity complete each other . I feel softer for his situation bc I worked in the education field for a few years and I saw children that reminds me of his childhood. The feeling you’re never good enough and the need of external validation is the worst and is ruining his life. And all of this is because he was never seen. But since he is an adult and had finally someone to open his eyes, he is responsible for his behaviour. Honestly last episode I thought to myself I would actually get sick working as a host if I don’t like it, and you can see he isn’t 100% into it because he is soft hearted, he is selling his body. I was honestly so frustrated at him like that one time he made her pay thousands of dollars for a drink, but you could see the shame in his eyes. He is unpredictable for sure, BUT I really do think he has a soft heart inside, he really reminds me of my past students, he is still in his puberty. But in the end if he won’t save himself and make a choice and stop with the back and forth, nobody will save him.

I have an assumption. It’s not a spoiler because I’m assuming for it to be truth so you can decide whether to read it or not but I guess you also connected the dots————- think the boss is Kauro’s father and he is aware of it. ———— So also regardless their personalities there are a lot of things going on around them that can impact the ending. I realized there are only 3 episodes to go and like you said there are so many possibilities to end in very different ways. ————-
In another note- I would say I think he truly likes her/ or the idea of someone seeing him. (or maybe I’m blindes too.) I think he said the thing about the tower to push her away, and show her she has no future with him. Its like he doesn’t need to pretend he is the greatest when he is with her, he can be lame and loved for it. Also about her, I’m a bit annoyed bc why would you cut ties with him, write a letter to ur office and then look for him. Maybe it’s the obsession you talked about, like I understand her it’s hard to let go but she is an adult and has responsibilities and a future ahead other then hopeless concurrent romance

Idk in which episode you’re I watched until ep7 so far but I feel exactly the same. I feel like what makes it good is that I understand the for her to run away with kauro wouldn’t make any sense and it will ruin her life, which is already is. Those places bring trouble and it makes sense why. They’re having a hard life to begin with if they’re choosing this field and they’re surely are dehumanised, at the same time I hate how People portray him. Regardless this impossible nonsense romance story, he really had being through a lot and it’s the first time he is being seen as a human being with feelings and heart so I absolutely understand why he fell in love with manami. I would love them to end together but it will truly ruin her life. I feel harsh for saying that but it really is the beauty of the show you get both sides😭😭 I love him so much I hope he will get the f out of this field and stand up for himself before his mother

You’re so righttt it really is one of the best watches I’ve had so far. I feel like sometimes dramas that are ongoing are overhyped for no reason, but this one is actually so good. I’m sooooo emotionally invested in this, I usually don’t feel so emotionally attached to the characters but I feel like you can relate to them so much and that’s what makes it so great. It really is a classic. I also think when you’re doing an age gap rope, you have to be careful for it to not come out weird, but this is so well done Also, I usually only watch Japanese BL dramas bc straight jp dramas are usually cringey but this one is just amazing. It’s already in my top 5 fav dramas. I just love it it needs to be more popular
This drama is so good. I don’t know why the ranking so low. I think it’s the best Japanese romance drama I’ve watched so far. The acting is so good and not exaggerated like other Japanese dramas, I love the storyline, You can relate to the characters to the point, it made me laugh and sometimes cry from frustration. It’s really good. I love it.
This has to be one of the best dramas I’ve watched and it’s not even over yet. Everything is just perfect, the storyline is sad, funny, touching. I love the characters soooooo much!
This drama is just BEAUTIFUL. The story is so so beautiful, It touched my heart in so many ways. an amazing, emotional and exciting story with amazing characters involved. In the end it felt like the writer and director thought of every detail to make such an outstanding plot and story. The characters were super sweet I felt like I’m so in love with everyone, the main couple is just so UGHHHHH I love them their chemistry was 10/10. I feel like I’ll never find a BL with such a heart touching story and relationship. They managed to balance the funny and entertaining moments with the sad ones and the tragedy that has led everything to happen . So sad I finished watching it, it was just perfect. If you’re looking for an actual good story, fun to watch and a good BL relationship this drama is for you.
