No it just started extremely low, the ratings has actually raised, but in the first days of airing, there were people complaining non stop about esther yu’s voices and how orchid was so so stupid 😤 So the rating tanked to 8,2 now we’re at 8,4 which is great already considering the initial circumstances ^^

And it made COMPLETE sense when you think back to RongHao’s mental visualisation of ChidDi’s life when he visited her by her bed, you could see ChiDi been killed by multiple person in different circumstances. I vividly remember one where she was being poisoned!
And today Rong Hao talked as if she had respawned multiple times in the Mortal realm and this would be her last time before « being fred »!
