Um so while i don't have bls of this caliber, like full mystery ones. i've heard manner of death is like the closest or smth. and it's very well known and loved. but the ones i like, that are actually so good are KinnPorsche, love in the air (second couple), Revenged love (cbl), reset (THIS ONE IS YEAAAAARNNNINGG, so peak), my stand in (people hate this one, but it was angsty, and good), ticket of heaven, jack & joker (like plot wise, but not my fav that much), dangerous romance, we best love and to my star as well. Also, HIGHSCHOOL FRENEMY PLS. peak enemies to lovers
If you want yearning, angst and obsession all mixed up, watch double helix and kill to love. Especially double…
yes, i've watched double helix, cried sm. is kill to love um happy ending? also, i think it's a historical chinese one right?? i just don't like historical ones a lot. any other rec??
Each of their kisses shows different emotions and their state of mind at that moment. I cannot praise their kisses…
IKRRRR LIKE YOU CAN JUST FEEEL LIKE HOW BADLY HE WANTED TO SEE PHOB, to touch him again, to feel him again. it was like, both of them were dreaming, as if their kiss wasnt real or something. they both are THE BIGGEST YEARNERS. they were teared apart but their love is stilllll there. and like, THAT FIRST MEET UP AFTER 11 YEARS OMG THE SUBTLE HAND TOUCHING WAS LITERALLLYYYY GAAAAHHHH, fireee. ðŸ˜
also, in that car scene, tinn retreated. but after seeing that tear, he knew he was done.
OOOOH that sounds more interesting though. love a good enemies to lovers to yk enemies (maybe?) again ahahha. and yes, i've watched both 'to my star' and 'we best love'. pretty angsty, both of them. but i kinda like thai angsty ones more because thailand actually creates bl with big production and everything, unlike other countries just making it normally.
Read more and you’ll see even more clearly why he treats Chaeha so coldly. He’s not just mocking him because…
OMG YES, i just wrote a whole review and posted here as well. i'm just so in love with taeseon. like his whole reason for not telling chaeha 😠like he's such a complex character but he's SO WELL WRITTEN. the book was so good. and the fact that he WAS OKAY later on, with chaeha's father being guilty, like ugh. the development he went through 😠i love him!!! he was so nice!!
why lee chaeha get so horny in ep4? i don't get it...get horny because of drunk?
i actually don't like how the drama changed that tbh. like, i wouldn't be forming these opinions if i hadn't read the novel. in the novel, they both had sex for the first time AFTER chaeha spent a fun day with his colleague and came back to find taeseon waiting for him with chaeha's favorite ice cream and a bunch of other stuff. before they had sex for the first time, they were VERY MUCH ATTRACTED to each other, and there are TONNNNNSSSS OF NON SEXUALLLL MOMENTS. gosh, the tension was SO GOOD. they had proper development and everything, and because of all those conflicting feelings, chaeha went to his house, and they both consciously decided that they did, in fact, want to have sex.
it's been such a long time since i've actually read a very well written bl novel (those thai ones are not it lol). the way both ju taeseon and lee chaeha are written, ugh they're both just so tormented and broken, but the way they both healed each other. this novel is literally a must read because this drama is NOT doing justice to it. having 25 minute episodes for a 1k+ page book is way too little. I mean, they're doing great, but the way this novel captured all those emotions, the angst.
first of all, there was NO SA or rape or any type of force, everything was consensual, so the kiss in the drama was unnecessary, and also that stabbing scene too (but i liked that lol). so, i hope this clears up what some people were arguing about, "that's sexual abuse." well, ask the directors. nvm. and the whole revelation of ju taeseon being the actual son of Kang Wooseong, the whole scene was handled so well and IT WAS SOOO ANGSTYYY. I swear ju taeseon went through such incredible development. he's a perfectly written complex character and i'm just glad that he was never unjustly cruel or did anything to harm chaeha just because of his father. and even then, even when there was a chance that his father was guilty, he was willing to reconsider their relationship. and ugh i cried. like fine, he was wrong for not telling chaeha about all that at first, but he didn't want him to feel uncomfortable around him because of the truth. he would've never told him about being the son of Kang Wooseong if chaeha's father had been guilty and they would've lived together anyways. like idk man, he was so caring and i just loved him sm. and chaeha is literally NOT a doormat. idk, i thought that at first, but man 😠his resistance, endurance, and the way he handled everything, MAD RESPECT.
overall, this novel was reallllly good. just wished the cases and the overall plot weren't so long, like 1k pages is hehe not fine 😠but they gave so many insights, and if someone is very much interested in investigations, murders, and all that, this is really good in that way as well.
i mean i'm not against historical or something but i'm not fully into it as well. i'm liking this one though and have watched historical ones (love upon a time was so good). nvm, i just wanted yearning and angst yes. do you have some more recs? also, i'll check this one, does this have a happy ending? i kinda heard that it did not, maybe i was wrong??
guys im in desperate need of a drama like this, if anyone has any pls tell cuz im obsessed with this and 10 episodes…
i don't have any with law ones, but good enemies to lovers might be KinnPorsche, HighSchool frenemy (this one is labeled as bromance but is the gayest shit ever), the wicked game (bodyguard x boss), my stand in (toxic rs again), reset (a lot of yearning). i'm just suggesting these because they're not fluffy or something.
guyyss the prosecutor is actually nice 😠like he's kinda nice in the novel. like yeah, in series, we can see that too but some of the rudeness or cruel comments are NOT here. also, that kiss scene eh idk that hasn't happened. he's pretty okayish hehe. i like him
Each of their kisses shows different emotions and their state of mind at that moment. I cannot praise their kisses…
DUDEEEE IKKKKKRRRR??? THEY HAVE SUCHHHH EMOTIONAL DEPTH AND LIKE YOU CAN SENSEEEEE IT. like THOSE ARE GODDAMN PERFECT AND UNLIKE THOSE RANDOM KISSES THROWN. kisses should be like EARNED.
Also, HIGHSCHOOL FRENEMY PLS. peak enemies to lovers
