Reset is literally a sweet, non-toxic version of Payback, but it has some dark elements to it. It is honestly one of the best romances I could mention, and ugh, the yearning is literally the best.
Khemjira is literally my favorite. Though I would say that the romance was very little in it. Like, it was there, but it was not the sole main focus most of the time, so it made sense. Revenged Love is the only CBL that I like, and I think it has all the hurt/comfort and angsty elements, and literally the best romance I could ask for. Like, the best one. If you haven’t watched it, do it ASAP. It is sososos good.
Double Helix and Deep in are considered dark CBLs, and most people LOVED these. Maybe not Double Helix as much, but I have heard so many great things about Deep in. Like, everyone loved it. To My Shore and ABO Desire are also considered dark, but I hatteddd them. They were boring, so I dropped them.
Dark Blue Kiss and Bug Dragon are considered dark ones in terms of jealousy and possessiveness, but honestly, both were just boring and bad.
Love Syndrome 3 can be considered a guilty pleasure lmao. It was so Wattpad-coded, with forced scenes, jealousy, choking, and whatnot. It also has a whole-ass backstory that was revealed in parts because, honestly, it is based on a novel, and the first book is all about confinement, rape, and Stockholm syndrome. So yeah, those things were censored in the drama, and that’s it.

Dangerous Romance is said to have no chemistry and all, but ngl, when I watched it, I was in love. Like, it was just so amazing. The romance between Perth and Chimon was so good. I don’t know why people were saying that they had no chemistry. They had an enemies-to-lovers arc, and it was so angsty. Even after they fell in love, there were some scenes that were just so angsty. It was so perfect. I just loved their scenes so much. They gradually went from enemies to lovers, and it was not rushed at all.
Then there is Love in the Air, and I think it is also considered a guilty pleasure. It is good quality and all, but the stories are pretty surface-level. They are not overly developed, but they are still good. The first story, to me, had no plot, but the second one had a proper plot and everything. The second one is truly my favorite, but I don’t know why some people don’t like it. I think the second story is really good.
These might not have the darkest elements. They are not dark. I wouldn’t call them dark at all because, to be honest, after watching and reading a lot of dark stuff, I would not consider these dark.
Also, The Manner of Triage, both of these are considered dark and have been suggested to me a lot of the time, but to be honest, I don’t feel like watching them. I just don’t think there is enough romance.
Laws of Attraction was also suggested to me, and I did watch it, but I found it so boring and lackluster and something.
And that’s it.
I think Johan North’s story in Fourever You Season 1 is very good. People do call it dark, but it’s not dark at all. it’s sweet and everything. Like, it’s just so good. It’s about someone who has loved the other person for three years, and the other person It is not very well developed, though, I would say. Like north fell in love a bit quickly but um they had to do it considering that there are a lot of couples' story
And then there is Perfect 10 Liners. The second story of Yotha and Gun, with Perth and Santa, is literally one of my favorites because they are just so cute. Their story is also not dark, but they are, I would say, grumpy x sunshine, or golden retriever x black cat. It’s just so good. Their story is so good. It’s angsty as well because they did not immediately get together, and there was a lot of crying, regretting, and everything. So I would call this one the best story in the whole drama.
