No, same thing happened in the book. She also ranaway in the book with Simon. The character's won't know about the father's baby until the 3rd quarter...towards the end...

FL - is teaching ML to just enjoy life...smile...luagh more.

1. ML isn't spineless. Based off the book
2. FL doesn't have low self esteem. I gave the translated dialogue
I could careless if a person like it or not. It does nothing for or to me.
