He felt bad. He was observing her and ask his friend to give her an umbrella.
Before that. When she submit her work. He rejected it.
But, He also initiated her to tell her he likes her work and why.
When she wasn't following him and acting like a SFL. He initiated interactions. He block the water ballon for her...he took her place for the nose touching thing. When he complimented her drawing, he was detailed on why it was good....it was not a blanket statement
So, yes....even if he didn’t find out the truth. I feel like he would make amends. He also got his friends calling him out that it was too much.
