Many times in general watching dramas. We need to have a suspension of belief. We have flying Kung Fu here
My point is, we already have ridiculous thing happening in the drama....how is that surprising
I can watch any drama and have a list of things that doesn't make sense.
If i focus on that....i won't be able to watch anything
Some of the things you mentioned can be explained...with some deductive reasoning. I discussed the foreign princess a few times

Again deductive reasoning of things we been told by the characters. The whistle he gave FL. You blow it and when we are close someone can come to you. If it far she can use the firework signal.
She circled back to that area because she left clues ...the princesses n her idiots checked it earlier and she wasn't there and they moved on

We didn't get extra detail on the person/people
The opera case involved the money stolen.....in which it was mentioned again with the emperor......that case is left for the jurisdictions to handle....actually this 1 we do see what happened to the family ....fl talked to the mom/kids
The garden cases not so much....except her brother who will take care of the garden and rebuild
