Only five episodes and I'm loving this so far! I liked getting her point of view in the first episodes and his in the others. Based on MXY's perspective, it seems like my thoughts about Qing Shuang being a hallucination might be right.
I'm happy I gave this another shot because I donāt get the low rating. Sure, there were a lot of side characters, but I wasnāt confused or bored with the story.
This was really good. My only regret was not watching it when it first aired.
The only scenes I skipped were the ones with Ming and the Duke because I wasn't interested in them. However, I do feel bad about Mingās ending; she didnāt deserve to die because of her motherās sins. I also think the stepmother wasnāt dealt with enough. Uncle got what he rightfully deserved. I loved Dou Zhaoās father's character arc because he was pissing me off at first. Song Moās father was trash, and Song Han was just dumb. I felt bad for Ansu because he used her and took her kindness for granted.
I don't know. I saw someone mention that there seem to be less cuts in the Netflix version of the show? I'm not…
I was watching Netflix since I didn't renew my IQIYI subscription, but I've subscribed again to catch the remaining episodes. Once Netflix releases the rest, I'll see what's missing.
