Kinda feel like yuk's affair is some kind of foreshadowing for sangsu, migyeong and suyeong ngl, that affair thing…
Yep, the affair bit was kinda of weird😅..but I think with Sang Su's character, he probably wouldn't cheat (at least not physically).
And yeah, I agree with you on the Kyungpil/Migyeong comment. There is something there. At first, I thought it was because he could pick up on her "fakeness" if I could call it that. But I think maybe something happened in the past. Maybe he is the one that lost that scholarship they were talking about.
Ahn Su Young drains me. Its just so tiring watching her and I find it difficult to connect with her. She acts holier than thou and like she is always right and wont even listen or give the other person a chance to explain. I know it might be a defense mechanism but her character is so off-putting for a lead.
Once again, I was reminded that having a high rating and good reviews does not mean a show is actually great. This was very lackluster. I get what they were going for but it wasn't quiet delivered as they had probably hoped it would. I thought I would cry once or at least feel emotional but it just lacked depth even with the variety of stories they had. And because of how the drama was set up, with every episode having extras come in to tell a different story, I found it hard to connect to any of them especially those with subpar acting(which was most of them). It was also hard to even connect with the main cast. I did however like the gay couple. They looked good together and I wouldn't mind watching a drama with them as leads.
I'm on episode 6 and the only thing I can think of is that I could never sleep with my feet sticking out of the…
hahahahaha me too.. I literally just saw a scene from another drama where part of the guys body was sticking out of the blanket and I immediately thought NO!🤣
This is just horrible. Forget about the cinematics or the subs, I cant even stand the female lead or their obvious attempts at being funny. And the dude that keeps saying "take responsibility" irks me so much. Maybe he is mentally unstable because that's the only way any of the stuff he says could make sense. And the acting is somehow off too!
Started great, but It seems like the cast is less and less experienced with each story. Episode 13 felt like we…
Yeah the first story was great and it makes sense because they are the most experienced of the lot plus they have chemistry. Hoping the last one isn't as bad as the last 2 because I'm kinda intrigued about the synopsis.
So I really like Kla in Y-idol story. At first i was rooting for them to have a happy ending but Peeks actions…
Yeah, I agree with you on the manipulation bit. I guess they are trying to show that the entertainment industry isn't all that but the way they are going about it is a bit too much and it ends up not being as impactful as they had hoped. The 2nd story was a perfect example of how they lost the storyline and whatever message they were trying to give because there was a lot of deceit and manipulation and none of it made sense by the end.
Okay so what are the general consensus at the moment,Hate it or love it?I LOVED the first story, never finished…
For me, the first story was solid mainly because of BillySeng and not the actual story. 2 and 3 are absolute rubbish...watching at 2x speed. Hoping the last one is nice or is at least passable because the synopsis intrigues me.
I really hope Nayeon's jealousy stems from her wanting her ex to be happy but not wanting to witness it firsthand and that its nothing more than that. She really looks good with Gyumin and I hope they make it official at the end of the show.
I don't think I can ever get over Haeun's crying face. Its cute and funny and I swear there is no episode where she doesn't cry. On a serious note, its about time she got the hint and the faster she gets it, the sooner she can heal. I did feel bad for her because that terrace scene was a bit brutal but she really needs to let go. I also don't blame GM because from his perspective, he has made it clear that he does not want to get back together and he probably doesn't understand why she wont leave him alone.
This does not come close to the prequel and it was unnecessarily long but I am still glad they made it. I am happy they got a happy ending in this one and I enjoyed watching Allen play a different Zhousheng Chen, who was very cute and awkward where the original was super hot and sure of himself and exuded authority.
And for the life of me, I cannot understand why that stupid guy, who has been coughing since he was born and could drop dead at any minute, thought it was a good idea to mess up everything for everyone! All he had to do was to exist quietly till his time came, which wasn't far off. He is the type of villain I despise-petty and useless and acting up for no reason.
This is a masterpiece! I fell in love with Zhousheng Chen's character. It was the first time I watched Allen Ren's drama and my my my did he deliver. His performance was so believable and I hope he got an award for this. Bai Lu too did an exceptional job. Everything about this was perfect so much so that even throughout the drama when I sensed the way it would end, I still continued because it was that good. I was gripped from the minute I started and I couldn't leave it unfinished. I did not cry when it ended(hardcore😅 plus I kind suspected how it would end) but I teared up when I came to this page to rate it and found out that there is a sequel. Even if it does not live up to this one, I am still happy I can see more of Allen and their story.
And yeah, I agree with you on the Kyungpil/Migyeong comment. There is something there. At first, I thought it was because he could pick up on her "fakeness" if I could call it that. But I think maybe something happened in the past. Maybe he is the one that lost that scholarship they were talking about.
