Less than five minutes into the first episode, I can say that I'm absolutely disgusted at the way this insolent…
Today in the world 2 billion people lack of a reliable water source. Every year 800 000 people die from drinking unsafe water, Maybe your South Africa is very rich but In Africa, there are countries like Tchad, Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso where people cannot find immediate source of drinking water and they must walk hours for that. That's a reality in Africa (and elsewhere). So when you are done ranting for nothing, maybe you can donate a well to the needy people in Africa. Just google "donate a well to Africa". You will be able to find plenty of organizations and you can donate so they will drill a well with your name on it so people in need can have clean and reliable water to drink.
Why so many people are triggered by the Africa's scenes? OK, it is improbable that a hallyu star goes to Africa volunteer for a year but the problem showed does exist. Many people in Africa do not have access to water. In some place people have to walk 5-6 hours to find drinking water and many humanitarian organizations do finance the drilling of wells. Maybe everything is not realistic but the access to water issue is true and it is a good thing that the drama underline this by using this as a background for ML parting with FL for a year.
The liked first episode except that Africa part..Lee sung Kyung is definitely great actress.it's crazy how their…
I also like the subject of the drama: It is interesting to see that side of the kdrama entertainment industry. Not that everything is true but it gives some hints. It is fun so far but maybe they will disclose some less fun sides too.
The drama is fun and it has potential. The members of the PR team can be well developped. Too bad there is not much interaction between the two leads in ep 1. Waiting for ep2 to see what chemistry they have.
I am on Ep10 and I still don't know what kind of relationship Kheedika and Sasa used to be in, They were friends? best friends? roomates? lovers living together out of wedlock? .... it makes me kind of frustrated with Sasa's behavior. The guy looks obnoxious and a stalker.
The fact that the guy goes back to the past in his younger body to use more years and experience in another life…
This one is not simple time travel. Time travel usually does no imply that the traveler dies beforehand. This rather looks like a walk-in of a spirit or soul into his own body at a different moment of his own life.
This brings metaphysical considerations about him replacing his own soul in his younger body. Also the fact that he fights a villain using references and knowledge and hatred and judgements related to another version of this villain 18 years later is morally questionnable. Finally, the relationships he establishes with people (friends, teachers, parents) hidding his true self and identity this raises the issue of genuine relationship or cheating.
This is my take and my opinion. If your opinion is that it is weird ass take, well it is your opinion. I respect it. Thanks for your feedback.
I just want to know u guys like characters because of you relate with them or because of your favorite actor playing…
I liked Kim Ji Won in Descendants of the sun and Fight for my way. Not in her latest dramas. Here I don't see her. I see Yeom Mi Jung. A weird introverted girl who craves for liberation and other things. lol.
Never really noticed actor Son Seok Koo but I like Mr Gu. He exhudes raw masculinity:D with a dark personality but behaves like a good guy.
I was never a fan of Lee Min Ki but I like the character here. Sometimes I want to slap him. Somethimes I think he is just on spot.
Also I never noticed Lee El but Yeom Ki Jung is also an interesting case. I find her borderline and desperate but also fun or pityful at times. I guess she will develop into a better person soon.
For me they are both introvert. Mi Jung and Mr Gu look a lot better together. Their chemistry is sizzling. Plus I suspect Mr Gu to not really be the quiet type in reality.
The fact that the guy goes back to the past in his younger body to use more years and experience in another life…
I agree with you regarding the efforts and ingenuity he is using in his attempts to fight Cho Tae Seob. The issue I have with this is that this Cho Tae Seob is not the Cho Tae Seob who had him killed. Here we are 18 years back in time and this Cho Tae Seob has lost his son and he is a different Cho Tae Seob. Nothing says he will make the same bad deeds the next 18 years as the ones made by the version in KHW life as prosecutor. For KHW to track him and preparing to take him down not because of the wrong and injustice that man has done butbecause of the wrong and injustice another Cho Tae Seob did in his other life that KHW "anticipates" here... there is something flawed in this logic.
I think relationships are based on trust and truth. If someone hides something about himself as huge as who he really is, all the good things you can share might taste genuine but only for the ignorants of the truth. The one who knows the truth knows he is using a lie to gain the illusion of a genuine relationship. And the ones who are lied to, if they die not knowing the truth it is same for them. But is they do learn the truth, they would be disappointed and hurt.
I do not agree when you say he and his parents are picking up from where they last left off because the parents died when they last left off. but now they are alive with a different son. If we put ourselves in their shoes, that day, they let their 20 years son go to school and to his part time job. And at the end of the day, they find themselves with a 38 years old son back from another "life" . If they knew the true reason of his overnight change of attitude...
I do not know how things will turn between KHW and his new friends, companions, parents. I am just disappointed by this aspect of him being a justice warrior against a villain who is not "his" villain and deceiving people and using them, his knowledge of their "version" in his prosecutor life, their skills while hidding his true person to them. Probably things will develop as there is still plenty of episodes ahead but I am just feeling not immersed in this anymore.
Maybe I will check this again after it ended airing. Thanks you for sharing your opinion with me.

Usual time travel like back in the future, the traveler's body and mind travel in the past and he might meet the past version of himself that he should not encounter or interact with. No mixing.
Here only the mind of the traveler goes back in the past. Not to avoid himself but instead to take control of his own body. This is where the cheating is. Because nodody around him knows the truth and they treat him like he is 20 when he is 38. What he does has impact on their life and they react according to their wrong understanding of him and not to the real him. They would buy a birthday cake for him for his 21st anniversay but no, He i s 39.
Yes he is cheating because in his life, 38 yo Kim Hee Woo lost his parents and lived a life without them but now, he can enjoy their presence again lying to them about who he really is. He is liar. He lives a life determined by his 38yo self. Unknowingly from others. That's cheating.
As for his opponent Cho Tae Seob, he goes after him with all the knowledge, memories, resentment, anger... he gathered from his prosecutor life to fight someone who is not the villain he used to fight and has not done the wrong the guy he used to fight did.
It is like " I am coming after you for the bad deeds you did in my prosecutor life but that you have not done in this life yet. " This is a questionable logic because it implies that people are necessarily either good or bad people. Why he doesn't turn into a priest and make the villain change to a good person?
That's my opinion. You can have yours. Don't worry, I will not lmao at it. I care to respect other people's opinion.
You can call it cheating or what not, yea it's true. He's kinda getting a second chance at life with his 38 year…
If someone who comes back from the future in the past, the past is still his own future. So technically he doesn't get a second chance. I agree it is quite new and different as a concept but if someone knows beforehand and can adjust his moves in relation with his enemy, parents, friends, people and events he already knows exits .. . That remove the danger and it is anticlimatic. I would be pleased if the story turned into something not expected like a fly in the ointment and it drives unexpected consequences. Maybe I'll check this again after it ended airing. Have fun!
The fact that the guy goes back to the past in his younger body to use more years and experience in another life…
I cannot anticipate on what will happen but the concept, the set up and events so far are anticlimatic for me so I can hardly keep watching. I'd rather stop. I'll check the final reviews and give it another chance maybe. You guys have fun watching it.
The fact that the guy goes back to the past in his younger body to use more years and experience in another life…
But that Cho Tae Seob he wants to take down is not the Cho Tae Seob who had him killed. So this cannot be a second chance. If we put ourselves in his shoes, he is not back in the time to beat Cho Tae Seob but to fight another Cho Tae Seob using his knowledge of the first Cho Tae Seob. First Cho Tae Seob his son lived. This one, his son died. That's different circumstances and different persons.
What I was expecting? That the original Cho Tae Seob could be punished after a new fight. I think it would have been better if they resurrected him in the body of a different person but same time and space with the original Cho Tae Seob.
Maybe they will pull a stunt that would place the story back to the original Cho Tae Seob mixing time space but I barely see how they can do it...

Overall a lot a relatable characters.

Yes I will probably try Song Joong Ki next drama.
