How can anyone not fall in love with XL. He loves unconditionally and only wishes for her to be happy.

A part of me wishes she had found his letter to realize just how much he loved her but I know XL wouldn't want her to.

I don't hate Jing but he ain't my first choice either. He's a people pleaser and honestly he doesn't have a backbone. He has his cute moments but there are also scenes where I just wanna slap him for not being able to say anything.

I'd be so disappointed and would understand if people were mad. In S1, everyone except Feng Long had their fair share of screen time. If they cut XL and CX's sceentime and changes their characters, someone is going to get an earful from me. I want justice done to XL and CX's character like in the novel.

Yes this is really disappointing. XL and CX scenes are the ones I am looking forward to the most. XL's silent love for XY and CX's journey to the throne. They need to stick to the original. Makes me mad.

I'm hoping for some character development because right now he's a people pleaser and can't stand up for his girl.

I didn't know I needed Uhm Tae Goo with his deep sexy voice doing a funny role until now. He's really too precious. And I can't with his squad. They are just as funny as he is 🤣

Poor Bie Li. Got sibling zoned so quick 🤣 Sai'er really is slow to realize someone's in love with her.

And I am 1000% sad about General Nan's death 😭😭😭 I really was hoping the trio would stay together.

I hated Shang Bie Li so bad in the beginning. But half way through, he has made a crazy wonderful character development.

Now I enjoy his bickers with JXB and his very slow burn loveline with Sai'er. And his over the top actions and cute smile make for an ever greater character.

She sure is a karen. Tattles every chance she gets and causes trouble. But I'm starting to see a character development so she's not a lost cause.

The mother and daughter do make me mad and roll my eyes but I have high hopes they'll change soon. They are already starting to change.

And imo the mother is like this because she believes power marrying power equals safety.

Not going to lie, I was not impressed with the beginning. But glad I stuck around because every episode just gets better and better. I love the main couple. And I'm fully on Shang Beili and Sai Er's ship too.

Ji Hwan really is the definition of hard on the outside, soft on the inside. He's literally a squishy cutie stuck in a 100% pure masculine sexy man. And his people are just as cute as him.

Just heard season 2 might be in the works soon but with a different cast. I am so disappointed with this decision. I did not wait 7 years just to have a different cast. I'm sure they'll be great but no drama is the same without the originals.

Rewatching for the nth time. Might be one of my favorite dramas of 2024. Everything from smart FL to protective ML to amazing supporting characters. And the music choice is perfection. Love love love everything about this drama except the emperor 🤣
