I can understand casting an older person if we were to see a version of them as older later on like Jun Hee and Si Heon but he doesn't appear again in the present.

It was originally picked up by a fansubber and they subbed 3 episodes then Viki got the licensing for subs and fansubber deleted all 3 subbed episodes and no one re-uploaded them, so we are all waiting on Viki. Viki is going super slow on their subs (4 eps (soon 5) have already aired on Japanese TV).

Did they greenlit or in talks for S3?

In this story it makes sense that he's a bit bratty. He's a rich, spoiled younger son with a carefree life. Though they don't give his age and we don't know if he attended University.
