It feels like Koki has that bittersweet ending in the back of his mind and is kinda scared of it. I think he's grown attached and the way he looks at Tenshi with those longing and awe kind of looks, he's emoting "I don't want to lose you, I don't want you to go, I don't want you to leave me..."

This drama should have been 8 to 10 with ep 5, where Ryuji gives the answer to the love confession and he navigates his feelings etc with a time jump of them both going to Uni and running the restaurant (restaurant becomes a tourist attraction etc).

It could be a love square if Tew's mafia rival gets a makeover to be swoon worthy instead of giving the "what's wrong with him" vibe LOL

I can't tell if it's the actor looking much older (sir, please stop smoking) and trying to emote but "acting like a stick in mud" and can't do it so well or if it's the director not directing the actor properly. All we get is one adult couple short scene and it makes me not care about the adult relationship, I rather stick to the young versions and the side characters because they made us more invested plus they light up the screen where you want to know more about them.

I guess "K" had CTE/head trauma (rearranged his brain chemistry) after being hit by a rock when the horse pulled him because the reasoning for being an evil sh*te is laughable. Then again maybe he's a spoiled and entitled rich boy with "affluenza" (pseudoscientific psychological malaise supposedly affecting wealthy people) so maybe that's why he's a little sh*te.
