I think you should give this a try before you make a judgement on it from someone else’s review. I wasn’t going to watch it due to the bad reviews but I just tried it out as it was trending and ended up enjoying it.

wow so it’s based on real events damn. I did feel for the brother at some parts. Usually kids with a disability or illness get more attention from their parents as they need more help, and the other children end up feeling deprived of their love and attention. Overall amazing movie
The C-drama that disturbed me the most was the 2018 meteor garden. There was a scene where he basically assaulted FL, and I remember being shocked at how many people were okay with it and calling it cute. Young girls or guys may be influenced by this behaviour and think it’s acceptable. Heck, even adults could be influenced.the normalisation of taking advantage of sleeping/drunk girls is really disturbing. There are so many C-dramas I’ve dropped because the male leads were too rough. Thanks for sharing light on this.
Edit I get it’s art and artists have creative freedom but there are still boundaries that must be followed. It's the same reason why there are age ratings on certain movies and shows. Adults may be able to differentiate wrong from right but the developing minds watching these shows may consider this behaviour normal.
What gave me the creeps was how good at lying he was. Can you call him a psychopath..? he was able to manipulate everyone into believing his lies. He knew what to say.

Is that why she had a smile at the end because if she thinks about the good times
This is a really good show. Y’all should watch it. I finished it in a day it’s that good. Also I love the sound track/OST I feel like the female protagonist in an action movie.
I wish it didn’t end like that… in my head there’s an alternate reality where she acted as a witness against Choi Mujin and she continues as a cop and then lives at a cute little beach house w / pildo and they get married.
but i do have to say what frustrated me was that if Ma-rin told Kidong (his best friend), to tell so joon the truth then it could've changed the past and the dad probably wouldn't have to die. I don't get why the dad sacrificed himself ? They should have all stayed at home and the incident would not occur in the first place.
When this drama came out someone told me it wasn't worth watching and i regret listening to them. I gave it a try as Netflix was going to remove it and it was such an amazing drama. It's like a real romance drama, the type that will make you envious of their love. It's a must watch!! I also loved the whole plot and the ending made me cry.
