The drama is worth it and the ml is actually one of the better person in this drama. If you think he is self centered, you will know why he acts like that. I am actually so glad that he isn't made to be likeable at first. He grows on you as you watch the series. He is so embarrassing but so real.

It was ok but I still don't like that kita got away with everything. She treated the workers way more horribly than her father. Also what the hell is she doing in New York? She clearly didn't have any talent.

I really don't think it's about emotional intelligence in that scene. He was just way too overwhelmed at that time. Everyone has different reactions to these kind of situations. Also eun ah was fine and she didn't mind him acting like that. If I remember correctly she was smiling too.

Yesss I agree with you as well. Also it's definitely ok to not like a drama. You can simply just move on but people really just make opinions about a character just from the first 2 eps. That's weird. Most people genuinely just don't want to give any chances to dramas like this. It's sad.

To himself and to other people too. He thought he enjoyed seeing others in pain. But when he realises that eun ah might have gotten hit by the car he rushes towards her. Now tell me will a self centred person do that? He doesn't react that way because he is self centred. He reacts that way because it's for the first time that his watch didn't show the destruction emotion . It's for the first time that he didn't wish for someone's downfall. He was overwhelmed and that's why he ran away. We are talking about a man who is in his late 30s here and has been trying to make a film for the past 20 years without being successful. I have seen people who have failed just once be more bitter than him. And those people even self harm. He is so much better.

Yes he is embarrassing. Yes he is annoying. Yes, he acts a certain way towards his friend. But tell me if he has acted like that with other people too? Nope. He didn't. Why?
It's simple. He hates them and their success because they hated him first and used him. It is a spoiler for later eps but it does seem like you will watch the later eps so that's why I am telling you this. Also you are probably the only person who thinks he is the only one who was disrespectful towards his friends. Some of those friends are shit. Ok. Dong man has always criticised their work. He has always admitted that he was jealous. While some of those so called friends wish for him to just drop dead. They call him a walking corpse. They say they have been tolerating him for 20 years. I am sorry that is not how much time it should take for you to remove someone from your group if you are uncomfortable with them. Also noticed anything. Dong man criticised their work. They hated him. Huge difference. He is in no way a likeable protagonist. But that's the catch he is not someone to be liked by the first ep but he grows on you later on. Obviously this drama is not for everyone but since I like it so much and want everyone to understand the characters. I wanted to write this. If you don't like it. That's ok. Not the only drama out. You can watch something else.

I believe in redemption too but 10 eps in and it feels like the mother really does believe everything revolves around her. She doesn't even look like she feels bad for anything she ever did. Maybe I am just too bitter and not trying to understand her. She did say the father left and all.

The thing is even when you are friends as a group when you see someone not being treated nicely you would stand up for them. You are friends, you are the only one who can actually put some sense in those guys heads. Eun A is the only one telling them what's wrong but they won't listen because eun a is an outsider. If someone like jun hwan and yeong su actually tell them they what they are doing is wrong. They might listen too and honestly if they don't that just means they were never good friends to begin with. But jun hwan just smiles and say hey stop, don't that's it and yeong su just literally decided to walk away when he knew they were probably gonna kick dong man out.

Well jun Hwan is a people pleaser so he is basically nice to everyone. He knows they treat him like shit and yet he hangs out with them. Also only 2-3 people from that group are actually the worst. Gyeong Se is childish af but I feel like he will change. I also feel understand his reason he is a human after all. What he did was wrong for sure but now we know that his guilt was the one making him do all that. I also read somewhere that we don't hate other people because they are bad. We hate them because we see ourselves in them and it's much easier to hate others than to admit that you were wrong.

Well whatever it is. They definitely didn't pay any attention since everything is literally being shown in the drama.

Maybe I didn't understand what this person is asking but her childhood trauma isn't even a reason for why she is being bullied like that in the workplace. Nobody at her workplace knows that she was abandoned. And yeah she is being bullied because they don't like the fact that most of the scripts go to her and they probably feel like she only picks the scripts that everyone neglects because she likes playing the hero. Also Dongman talks bad about his work. He mocks his work but the other guys, they mock and say bad stuff about dongman himself. Never once in any ep they have said anything about his work. They criticize the man himself not his work. They have made up their minds that he is worthless. While this does come off as me defending him I do agree that he himself is very flawed but he is also depressed. He knows that staying with those people won't help him but he still chooses to do so. His words are harsh But I believe that he also the one character who is so dynamic. Like the fl said he has so many doors wide open. He is also the one character who feels like he will evolve as the series goes on because he will be interacting and conversing more with the fl while some members of the 8 club choose to only interact with the same kind of people. They don't even feel like they will change.

I have also just watched ep 3 and yeah what dongman did wasn't good but the 8 club guys are no saints either. The producer wife also agreed about her husband. The husband is just like dongman and honestly probably worse it's just that he is successful right now.
The other producer girl and the directors that work at the choifilm they are the worst. You don't talk like that about your enemies the way they mock dongman. and the directors not the Friend( he is also a people pleaser) and the other guy who was telling dongman to be kind( he is flawed too since he chooses to walk out of confrontations as we saw in ep 2)
They all are flawed. Some of them are just unredeemable. I do hope they change but I don't know if they will.

Right. I thought I would still give them a chance but some of the 8 club members are insufferable. They treat and talk about dong man so badly. I am sorry but even if they don't like him right now how could you talk about someone like that when you have known him and there friendship probably started when they were in the same situation. So hard to believe that these people were friends at one point. This just shows that they were toxic from the start.

On ep 2 right now. I agree with the brother. They all are acting like children. They keep saying that they have been dealing with this for 20 years now. So why did it take you guys 20 years to cut him off and when you do it that's your way? Seriously. I feel like he hasn't made it in 20 years not because his script is not good. It's because those people the eight club. They always keep saying he should quit it. Same with the producer. Why did nobody ever tell him what's wrong with his scripts? They keep saying dongman ruins the mood. So why did you not tell him this before. Also like the brother said is he that strong that he can fuck with your mind like that. Also I love how the brother stood up for him because that's what I would have done. Nobody gets to talk shit about my siblings. No one.
Maybe I am judging them too early since the title is " Everyone is fighting their own worthlessness" maybe it's just because we didn't get to see other's pov yet. I do want to give them another chance but yeah I do feel like they are acting like those children at the playground who just tell all other kids to not let the one kid play because they don't like them.

Oh you should definitely watch it. It's so good. Two of the sisters from here are in that one too. And obviously some of the supporting cast as well. While I like the ost of this one. That one has my heart and the main pairings there have much more romantic chemistry than this drama in my opinion. This mystery in that one is good too.
