wow, i appreciate that long reply, i had to hand it to you how committed you are to this show.

First id argue that Phob and Phob's mother (and all of Patthamapriya's servants for that matter) wasnt oppressed by the royal family, it is quite clear right from the start that the royal family (except ffor Chat) doesnt treat their servants as slaves - but almost as family members and every one of the staff loves the family. Education was even provided for Phob (and unlike what you said of it being transactional) i remember her majesty the princess said that the hope for providing him with education is that Phob wont be serving the famliy in future. When Phob's mother decided she wanted to leave the palace nobody stopped her, in fact the royal family were concerned that they werent treating them right. They were in fact free to go if they wanted. Their banishment from the palce was of different reason altogether. I am arguing that the pseudo-oppression Phob's feeling is from his mother's inferiority complex and because he thinks everyone is against his love for the prince.

I would also argue that yes Phob was being manipulated by the group he was in. Yes we may consider Phob was following chain of command when it comes to his superior - but there's a bigger devil in disguise besides him - Jan - who has used every single information she kjnew about Phob to make him do things he normally wouldnt do.

I wont arque on how you defend Tinn's characterization. If you see him just as being selfless then thats good for you. i have no problem with him being too selfless and being too one-dimensional, my problem is the exxageration of the circumstances he has to face after the fall of the family. His reaction was way too dramatic compared to the rest of the family - yes they fell from grace but they were clearly not in the level that the family wont be able to eat if he doesnt work. If you dont call that martyr complex then i dont know what you call that. The granma was even creative enough to find a living because of her deserts. Vasin and Chat leaving the family is a clear indication that while their situation was bad- it wasnt bad enough for that dramatic job hunting sequence. I bet they could remove that sequence and it wont change the outcome of the story. It was clearly included just to give that part of the show a more dramatic effect.


Lastly where in my comment did i say simple soap opera? Did i use the world simple? Soap Operas are NOT simple. Mansplain??? Which part of my comment is mansplaining? Do you even know how to properly use that term? If anybody is mansplaining thats you. Saying to me that im being spoonfed information and i dont understand it is a stellar example of mansplaining. And you telling me that the show is spoon feeding the information is not exactly a trait of a good drama , in fact spoon-feeding is generally a sign of a weak one.

i actually wouldnt mind seeing Sea and Keen in any role, thyere just too lovable, its just that seeing them as high school again in this series is a bit jarring especially Sea as a junior to Keen because Sea always has that older mature vibe energy than Keen. i just hope the pacing bwould be fast and they would probably moveon to college.

BTW i feel like we should be including When Oranges Fall in this list, but where do we put that series in this ranking.

First of all, soap operas are not dumb - emotionally engaging story is not exactly the opposite of soap operas, in fact most soap operas are so melodramatic and emotionally engaging so i dont see your point.

And thats exactly my point about this series being almost soap opera. Yes, i know they may have intentionally designed it that way as a lakorn, but the extreme character development esp of the 2 leads is a bit frustrating. let me give you an example - Phob is an extremely capable prince man's servant who was treated so well by the royal family but felt so oppressed because he was banished from loving the prince, became a successful army captain but then cried in his almost every scenes, he deluded himself for being a man of principle and of the people but is actually just an obsessed loverboy, easily manipulated by the people around him. Prince Tinn on the other hand is exactly that - a prince who was written like a disney princess, naive to the the point of stupidity, with one of the worst martyr complex in a series for dramatic effect - dude was educated in the west and tried to find job as dye mason and goods porter with sad effect while eating his lunch in the bridge. He should be crying if thatd the only thing he can come up with after all those priveleged he had before. Dont even get me started with all the other characters especially Jan the reporter. At least Pond is consistently and effectivelyannoying from the first episode.

1. CCC i i think is shaping to be one of the best BL this year if they can keep the consistency till the end and the 2 leads are really charming - reminds me of Mario and Pchy.
2. As for Weird 101 i think its too early to tell cos its only 1 episode but of course we expect great things from Sea and Keen. (but tbh i think they should have graduated from high school roles, its a little weird to see them from college roles last series back to high school again, plus i think they are th eoldest out of these new batch of highscool actors). 3. i dont exactly know what to say about Make it Right 2026 cause i dont think the og is well loved enough to warrant a remake.
4. i would rank Lovex3 the least likeable for now since its only 1 episode yet, plus my goodness im tired of seeing that actor who plays the principal - he is always the most annoying character in every series he is in, i dont know why he keeps getting roles. plus i dont have enough confidence with the director i cat still remmber the wasted potential of La Pluie.

out of all the cast, i dont understand why Phop is cast as the main protogonist. tbh i dont see his chemistry with Krit

i dont know why but i feel like it has become a soap opera and Phob and Tin almost cryingin all their scenes. Pond is perfect in his role because you just want to smack his lips everytime he speaks

This is already one of the best highschool campus BL ever made with just 4 episodes aired yet. And they did it without relying on extra NSFW scenes., just pure chemistry magic and sweet story telling. And oh my love there is not one annoying character here whcih makes this an easy watching experience. GMMTV what are you waiting for, ti me to pirate the leads.

7.7 . The raters are crazy. This is one of the best shows on tv right now. The story and the script is so well written. this deserves at least an 8.5

why does the episode feel so short, its like nothing has happened in today's episode and then bam credits started rolling? For a series that's only 10 episodes something something has to happen soon. And that god awful lip makeup, you guys dont have a proper special effect makeup artist? Also wahts with the rain effect at the end of the episode. its obviously a fake rain and nobody's getting wet so why the need to put it?

Still i like it so far, watching for Ping. Im still double guessing my self if i like his chemistry with Teshow. i guess i need to see an episode or two more to give my take. I honestly dont understand why GMMTV took Ping under its wing and not take Meen together with him cause they already got a very good chemistry and obviously GMMTV saw something that's worth snatching up.

I sincerely dont get the love for this series. The first 2 episodes were quite intriguing until Dan cqme in the picture. Now, the story is all over the place with super annoying characters.

I wonder how gorgeous Lil Jane is to have all these boys go gaga over him. Put isthe worst kind of friend, secretly obsessing over Jane and doesnt want him to be happy, not even to his last breathe- dude made up a lot of stories and literally handed you over to a stalker and when that didnt work out dude tried to rape you. But you as stupid Lil Jane chose to believe this twisted Put instead of his own boyfriend,

Put is one of the most annoying characters ever on a BL, he was literally fighting for his life but still chose to say Big Jane's name as his last dying word, this guy is just obsessed to the levels i cant explain. And please explain to me what kind of hospital just lets random people get into an ICU room instead of the family. Lil Jane even has to take the doctor's role and tell the mother that his son died.

Then Lil Jane made all the drama "i want you to disappear from my life" but f*ck me first. Then he has the guts to perform this crying scene the only thing lacking is him sliding on a wall while crying for extra maximum impact . If you will be hurt and believe everything in that damn letter, why didnt you just believe him in the first place? This dude is a firstclass user - is having sex with Lil Jane worth 1 million baht that Big Daddy spent to savehis brother. And oh wait, we can ask big Jane for a second wish? I wish i have a friend like Big Jane.

TBH personally i think GMMTV immediately terminated his contract because of the effect on them financially and they want to keep cashing in on the show with all the events theyve planned after the series end. There are ways to help mitigate the situation - maybe tell the netizens that they are suspending Justin until he finishes a sensitivity course or something. In fact they should have been subjecting all their talents to a similar course from the very beginning to teach them to be more careful in using social media

Yes he did reposted some nasty things on tiktok but the bite back is too severe, i think people are forgetting he is just 15. its so easy to cancel people these days. I remembered when i was younger even to the time i started working when i did some crazy things that i would later regret, I am old and sometimes like and repost things on tiktok i dont even mean to. We mature and grow thru time and a lot of my beliefs are so much different than now. Its regretful that even GMMTV was too quick to cancel him instead of providing a shield to protect him, unless they knew something worse that we dont.

this season is kinda boring tbh. the lack of one big villain for this season kinda makes this feel a little less compelling than the previous seasons.

The 2 bombs didnt explode, they just fizzzled it was kinda anti-climatic, at that scale it wouldnt even kill people it didnt even break anything., The windows in the assembly hall could at least shatter and the church rooftop should be in shambles. I guess they dont have enough budget for extra special effects.
