Looks like my one comment has bring much conflict Between people here. My perspective about saying " MR's novel is quite average compared to MM's" is i guess the main reason behind this. I have become kai's fan after seeing ALP. It has a great impact on me personally. So when i learn that MM is a SPIN OFF of ALP i thought it might also be a huge product just like ALP. Here i am talking about the plot and elements rather than the production team and marketing. MM is a ready product now and can be broadcast any time so when i learn from a MARKETING account that it wil compete with MR in jan i was worried and it’s basically because MR is still not ready. It’s a high vfx and cgi based drama so it will take much more time to prepare it. But after the confirmation that dafeng is coming in 28th i now understand that it’s a false rumour. In my previous comment my only mistake was that i said MR's novel is quite average and that's wrong i admit. I don’t know much about this facts so i have miss spoken there. I don’t like to act stubborn when i said something wrong. That’s why when the other person correct me i simply thanked him and thought it will end there. I have read some comment below from betcha and some other users. I think i have corrected betcha when he said he thinks accepting 800 meters is a disgrace for him. He thinks long historic puppet dramas are way better than those short suspence thriller dramas. 800 meters is a project from tencent x theatre which produced some of the classic dramas that's have a huge audience pull. Kai has done many ancient puppet dramas so now he is reforming Himself for those projects that will help him to establish Himself as a REAL actor and win him prestigious awards. It’s not a downgrade but it’s a huge jump for him. I personally like him in costume drama and hope he will do at least one idol drama a year but i respect his perspective about his career more. Hype and marketing alone is not enough for a drama to success. If that was the case fox spirit matchmaker would have become a huge success cause we all know the hype it carries. It depends on the plot and acting which will attract the audience. The number of reservations only means the anticipation for the drama when it’s from a well known ip or actors working in it. It doesn’t means it will be a hit. Some of the users here don’t like that i have posted melons about his upcoming projects. Well i will stop doing that from now on. Lastly i like kai because of his acting and the respect he has for his fans. It’s a very rare quality from an actor nowadays. Really hope he will get better and better in the future as well.

First of all i am not a native chinese so i may not know some parts like which ip has big fanbase and which not. MM is a spin off of ALP i know that. ALP, TLI, MM all of them are from same Universe. The first 2 part were pretty much famous so obviously mm also has some advantage from it. MM is a big bet from iqiyi and they are promoting it that way already. What i was trying to say earlier is that it will be unfair for MR to compete with MM at this point. I am relatively a new cdrama watcher so i don’t really know much about inside news. Thanks for the clarification though.

If tencent use MR to compete with MM than they will be the biggest fool in the industry. MM is iqiyi's one of the top drama to release next year. It got the licence to air long ago. They have already started to do pre heat business. Iqiyi will do everything to promote it. They might even create a group VS for them. And the ip is also very famous so it will obviously attract many viewers nonetheless. On the contrast MR didn’t got it licence yet. No idea about dubbing. Who knows how linmone will treat this one. The ip is also quite average i'd say. So basically it will be a sacrifice from the tencent in the name of "Competition". Not worried about FI or 800 miters cause if the content is solid it will be a hit easily. I really hope tencent takes good care of MR just like they are doing with dafeng at this moment.

The drama he is currently filming and the previous one are dramas that attracted the most viewers in the mainland as much as i know. Those are the dramas that helps a c-celeb to gain huge attention in the mainland. Many idol actors now do this type of dramas and movies cause it’s helps them to win most prestigious awards. For example Wang yibo, xiao zhan, dylan wang, leo wu, zhao liying, liu shishi, yang mi etc. After gaining fame from idol dramas they all are now doing serious projects cause this type of projects help an actor to became a top star in the industry. Fire investigator is directed by the director of UTS series. It’s obviously a top class project and the one he is filming is a tencent x theatre project. Almost all of their projects have very high ratings in douban and all. So it also ensure us. This are some things i get to know after following Xukai.

I am not saying he should stop working with older actress. Seven tan, jing tian, yang zi, yang mi all of them are well known actress for their versatility. I know they can pull any character with ease no matter if it’s idol or serious drama. The actress's i mentioned from 95's are well known for their charming performance in modern idol dramas. They are some of the actress kai never paired with so i want them to pair with him in idol dramas especially modern idols cause it makes a better believable cp. In abay kai and seven were superb no doubt. Their chemistry was on top. They also look good together. Now i want them to pair in a costume drama together. Hope it will happen sometimes in the future.

Such a useless story!! I mean why do they even bother to make it as a drama with such a cheap and disgusting story. The ml marry someone else but still has feeling for the fl wtf. I will never watch such trashy drama. Just hope kai never takes on this type of projects.

And i personally don’t care about this biling issues. As long as kai get the recognitions from his dramas i am happy with that. And nowadays almost all the idol dramas make it as an equal biling so that no fandom get hurts with that like chen zheyuan and Zhang Jingyi are equal in their latest drama as well as tian xi wei and Zhang linghe are also equal lol. It will be like this among the 95's actors i guess

I have also seen that lusi's fans are not happy with yu zheng and to be Honest alaso's are not happy with him either lol. Don’t no if it will happen or not but yeah i will be rooting for that to happen. I badly want to see kai and dilreba to paired in a drama. It will be a visual feast for eyes. Don’t care about genres just there should be romance between them that's all. With zhao liying honestly i have never imagine kai and her together. She is a very big actress and also very beautiful as well. If someday they play a drama or maybe movie together i will be very happy to see it. But now i want kai to pair with actress who are younger than him or maybe around his age. A believable cp is important in any drama so you know what i mean. There are many rising and talented actress from 95's or 00's like guan xiaotong, liu haochan, zhou ye, li landi, xing fei, wang churan, zhang jingyi etc; i want someone from them to be the next leading lady for him. And hopefully he will take an idol drama next cause we all know what can his idol dramas do lol.

I have a special corner in my heart for xianxia dramas because of Xukai. ALP is my most favourite xianxia drama till date. Every time i heard about him taking costume drama i hope it to be xianxia lol. Hopefully he will do a xianxia drama soon and if possible play an antihero type character. It will be a blast for me🥲

Just in he will record a CCTV programme tomorrow lol. It’s about voice dubbing or something like that. Looks like he is trying to improve his pronunciation by participating in programmes like this. It’s a programme from cctv so it’s way better than any other platform events lol.

You are right. He can surely portrait the carefree man with extraordinary skills than any one else. He certainly has that aura in him. I am missing him in costume drama now. He had done so many costume drama but still feels like they are not enough to me. He is most handsome when he has a sword in his hand lol. Hope he will be doing a romantic fairy tale drama next with a good production company who will value him the most.
