Finally I am watching this drama. As beautiful as Beijing is the first chinese novel i have ever watched so it is spacial for me. I started reading the novel for Xu Kai but fall in love with the novel itself lol. I have read the novel may be around 20-30 times already but it still feels new to me every time. About the drama i was a little worried because almost 30 chapter in the novel if i remember correctly we could hardly get to see anything about han ting. I thought it will be like BCE where the bf will take a lot of screen time but thankfully i was wrong. So far i am more than satisfied with drama and looking forward to the next episode. The han ting i know is more like a god to me who has control over everything that happens but the han ting i get to see is more down to earth and approachable. But i can see he is as ruthless as he was in the novel but more humane. I am loving him. As for Ji xing she is a carbon copy from the novel. I believe only seven can play this role.

I am at epi 30 and still the plot is so damn annoying. I started this one for cheng yi but am very disappointed with the shitty and annoying side characters. ML is powerless and FL is overpowered wtf. And that king bailing my god he is the most annoying character here. No one care about the ML and that 9 tribulations where he was killed by her or because of her. I can not go and anymore. So much time loss for me😒
