I just finished Tale of Lady Ok, and I’m genuinely heartbroken it’s over. This beautiful sageuk completely captivated me—what a poetic love story! After My Dearest, it’s the drama that truly stole my heart and even made my soul cry.
The plot was filled with twists and turns, never dull for a second. It made me angry, made me smile, and left me in awe.
Thank you, Tale of Lady Ok, for such an unforgettable experience. You now have a permanent place in my heart.
This drama is absurd—within 10 minutes, there were way too many back-and-forth moments, and it’s really starting to annoy me. The drama has 12 episodes, and 6 of them have been absolutely pointless, filled with nothing but back-and-forth drama and a love triangle that was completely unnecessary.
For the first time ever, I find myself rooting for and being more interested in the second male lead than anything else happening in the story.
the grandpa when he offered ti wash eun chong …. that’s too much man hahahaha i mean they don’t know he is his grandpa and he acts so weird hahahahah so funny and at the same time disturbing
I really hope they don't do anything absurd with the finale cuz this is the best historical after My Dearest and it looked soooo long to be here and say this GG
There’s something about this drama that doesn’t sit right with me. It intrigues me, but I can’t figure out why it’s not gripping me the way it seems to captivate most people. I don’t know… it’s nice, but I wouldn’t call it the best of all time.
While the male lead’s lack of depth is an issue, can we agree that the female lead’s behavior is what’s really holding the story back? The constant back-and-forth—pushing him away, then pulling him back, only to push him away again—is exhausting. It feels like the writers are stretching the plot unnecessarily, which risks losing the audience’s interest.
And the male lead? His complete lack of self-respect is just frustrating. Are we supposed to root for someone who lets himself be treated this way without ever standing up for himself?
The story had the potential to offer a meaningful and engaging romance, but it’s being bogged down by repetitive and inconsistent character development. We know they’ll end up together—it’s a trope we’ve seen a hundred times—but couldn’t the journey have been more compelling?
to me this is a big flop, I understand it's fictionary... making call with a frkn samsung is insanely weird plus I don't even like the main leads... I don't see good interactions... I loved minho in pachinko but this one.. wow so bad
