WOW THE COMMENT SECTION IS HILARIOUS!! WHY ARE PEOPLE SO PRESSED BY A PUBLIC DONATION?? ALL CELEBS DO PUBLIC DONATIONS REGULARLY- THIS SHOWS THEIR GOOD WILL AND INDIRECTLY ENCOURAGES FANS TO DO THE SAME IF THEY CAN!! ALSO CELEBS ARE PUBLIC FIGURES AND IT'S GOOD IF THEY SET GOOD EXAMPLES!! SOME OF YALL NEED TO TOUCH SOME GRASS!!
oh thanks for the article!! i was thinking about what could be the problem!! obviously, (other) casts or PD are not the problem- the PD has so many hit dramas that it's unlikely it's because of him!!
NOW looking at the screenwriter only having "Something in the Rain" and "One Spring Night" (my 2 beloved pieces) in her bio, i can kinda guess what's happening!! if "I'm Against My Romance" is anything slightly like those 2 works, it's gonna be a romantic melodrama, but very slow with slow-burning romance (probably with steamy kisses, but that's not important right now)!! and i feel like Lee Jong Suk's first comeback drama after his military should have a "bang" with it, and this genre ain't it (on a general level)!!
just my 2 cents- i know i'm gonna watch this anyway, cause i'm a big fan of slow soft (melo)dramas.
He's sicky in the webtoon and many people complained about cast, he doesn't look sick with his strong and big…
no ur absolutely right, it's actually in this article, too!! but i saw 2 comments regarding the weight on the article topic, and thought to share the exact measurements!! ohhh so that's why!! now i get the reason behind the comments!! well, bohyun does look quite healthy and strong w his strong build!! not sure if losing 8kg will make him look sickish!! am sure he will anyway do great in the role, so ppl can stop judging too soon!! so excited to watch this when it's done airing!! thanks for the reply <3
love the article!! for those confused, 17 pound is around 7 something kg, rounding up to 8kg (it's also mentioned in the article)!! he looks so good before and after!! i was looking for the reason he had to lose this weight, and the article says "the death of his 18th-life lover Yoon Joo Won, leaves a deep emotional scar"!! i think i can guess why he needed the weight off!!
why does this have such a low rating?? this was sooo good- not at all cheesy, with correct amount of romance vs. business matters!! like i dont get it?? i genuinely dont give 10/10 easily, but this was such an easy 10 for me!! no doubts- on the rating scale of MDL, this has to have at least an 8!!
everyone calling this drama toxic, and calling jae eon selfish-
i actually agree!! at first i also thought he was quite manipulative even. but as the drama continued, i started seeing things not from nabi's perspective, but jae eon's. a person who hasn't been brought up by his parent since early teenage years, a person that always attracts girls for his beauty but not him as a person; anyone would start having trust issues this way. no one would want a relationship anymore!! the worst part was that his relationship with his ex was not as dissected for us as we wanted it to be?? so we really know nothing about his past, just like the other people in the drama!! at the end of the day, he had a soft heart for nabi, and it took him 10 episodes to actually say it out loud, but eventually he did!! unlike many, for me, this was a very inspirational drama, teaching me not to give up, after a single failure, and the fact that perfection doesn't exist!! even jae eon might not be perfect for nabi, and nabi knew it; but still decided to follow her heart and give them a proper chance!! i loved the slow burn romance factor, and the fact that it wasn't a lengthy 16 ep drama. hope everyone give this one a shot!!
can you pls spoil me the ending? happy or sad? or do we even get any closures, or would there be a cliffhanger…
omg seems like a roller-coaster of emotions!! but i'm so happy about the ending you described!! thank you so so much, love the details you shared!! i will go in prepared, and start it soon then!! <3
can you pls spoil me the ending? happy or sad? or do we even get any closures, or would there be a cliffhanger for another season? the comments are very different from each other and i cant decide if i should watch or not :(
